“One of the best Premier Inns we've stayed in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2011

Fairly new, about 2 or 3 years old, so in good condition. Mid-way between Falmouth and Penzance, so easy access to many local attractions. Got a family room which was much bigger than standard rooms, with comfy beds for the kids. Friendly and helpful staff, shared their local knowledge. Breakfast served at the Table Table on the same site and was excellent - buffet plus cooked to order with great service. (The dinners there are also fine but make sure you book a table as the place is popular with the locals too!).

I know that this a brand new hotel, But the accessible room was the best room of its type my wife and I have stopped in for a while. The wet room was a great surprise, but it being a twin room was just what we wanted, but an added bonus was risers on the beds ,it looks that at last an major english hotel group has listened to/or taken advice from someone who understands the needs of a disabled person who is stopping in at your hotels. I would like to thank the staff , one who I think is called Hazel, for all their help. I always phone the hotel I am intending to stop at , to make sure that the room is suitable for my wife.,I just just like mention that I was visiting Hayle and were put off by the reviews on trip advisor!! of your hotel there! Even locals have said it has gone down in recent months( Have relations living in Hayle) So looked elsewhere and really pleased I did . once again, thank youi

We got a really good deal on this room £29 for one night and £54 for the second night, the room was really clean and the staff here were so helpful. A really good experiance and I would definately reccomend this hotel to other people.

Just outside the town centre and ideally situated in a quiet spot (lack of mobile signal though). Hotel looks relatively new. Rooms are very decent size and the same as other premier inns. They are extremely functional, lovely big desk for business travellers and have all that you need. No free wi-fi but good price on room so can't expect everything. Meals are taken in the adjacent pub where there is a varied menu. All the hotel reception staff (and to be fair the pub staff too) are brilliant, extremely friendly, very helpful and cheerful. One day the morning papers were late and the lovely lady bought it over to the pub where I was having breakfast. Will certainly use again when in the area for a couple of nights.

For those people who have stayed in Premier Inns before, this hotel should be very familiar. The rooms themselves are large and comfortable, with freeview television provided. The showers are incredible, and I could of happily stayed in there for if I did not have to go to work.

The May Tree that is attached to the hotel (part of the Table Table group) provided good meals, although the choice is a little limited. The breakfasts are also served there and the food was cooked to order unlike some other Premier Inns.

There is no 3G signal on vodafone in this hotel, which, although not the fault of the hotel, is a bit irritating.

I did think the cost of the hotel was a little high (£75 a night plus breakfast) especially as the wi-fi internet costs £10 a day. Seeing as it is 2010, it is about time that internet access was free! However this is generic across all Premier Inn hotels and not specific to Helston.

Overall it is a good hotel, just let down by the value for money aspect. With the limited choice of hotels in the area, I would probably stay here again.
