“Excellent, clean & great value for money.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 weeks ago

Stayed here for two nights in December 2014 with our Newfoundland dog. The room was comfortable & spotlessly clean, the staff were very friendly & helpful. Excellent value for money, will definitely be staying here again next year.

Yes.... very adequate. As the website led us to believe, it was basic but with plenty of room and a comfortable bed. Our view was pleasant, facing open land, room number 3. Work at the garage at the front of the hotel was unobtrusive, and certainly no problem at night. The Brewers Fayre (opposite) was a good eating place. Staff were pleasant but could be a bit more flexible with the check-in time - wanting to charge £10 for booking-in half hour earlier, could surely have been avoided and thus created a much better first impression.

Room Tip: Ask for a quite room. Ours, room 3, was as such.

This hotel is great, its easy to find, central to all the local attractions, has shops and places to eat close by, the hotel was very clean and tidy, the room was comfortable and I slept well, the staff were friendly and approachable.

Unbearably hot - no AC. Apparently, they get complaints all of the time. "Just be glad you weren't here in the summer!", they chuckled. Well, we had to endure it for 4 nights at the end of October and it was an utterly miserable experience. Nice staff, but they told us they'd get instant dismissal if they opened the window beyond the measly 20cm allowed by a secure wire. Should be knocked down.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We do not provide air conditioning in this particular hotel, however in an attempt to make our customers’ stay more comfortable, we do offer fans. These are available from reception on first come first serve basis.

We have used this hotel a few times. Last year it was rather rundown. However it is looking a lot better now. I wouldn't use it for a long stay but useful for the odd night. I have never managed to get the low cost deals and Travelodge charges have always been dearer than B&B's & no breakfast provided, but may suit better if you want privacy..

We have stayed here every year for about the last 5 years. They have recently had a makeover, and it looks really welcoming and warm. Rooms are clean and warm, staff are friendly and helpful. Parking isn't too bad, although at the moment there is work going on at the local petrol station so there was a lot of work vehicles parked close by, just wish
Hayle would have a few more footpaths around this area.
Our bed was lovely, the bedding was spotless and apparently you can now purchase one of the TravelodgeDream Beds..We also had an electric fan in our room which was helpful as the rooms can sometimes get very warm. Our only gripe was the way the room had been laid out and instead of the TV being directly ahead of you, it was over to the side of the room on the work surface, which meant when you were sitting on the bed, you had to sit at a funny angle to be able to view the picture. This might sound petty but I have mobility problems, and found it quite difficult having to sit like this.
Just a great Travelodge with the beach and shops very close by. There is also a McDonalds and pub, which seems as though it might be good for families.

Room Tip: None as we have stayed, in various rooms and each time all the rooms have been good.

Perfectly clean and tidy, airy and spacious rooms. Cot beds were not so comfortable. However, I had the king size bed, and was very comfortable. The room got quite hot during the night, but after opening the window, sleep resumed.
