“Will try again”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Second attempt to eat here {See Prev:} Checked their web site for breakfast menu and opening time,it gave Sunday as open at 9.am,BF served from 9.30am. So we arrived at around 9.20 to find the place closed,a lovely cleaning lady appeared and when asked if it was opening she in turn asked a young guy with a Rasta hairdo,he thought around 10am!!!.
Now we are determined at some point to eat here providing we can park and they are open and is not the old saying "third time lucky">

“Super friendly and laid back”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Food service on our (one) visit over a bank holiday weekend was a bit chaotic but what's the rush - just chill out, it's that sort of a place. Kids welcome.

“A great return visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2013

We had prawns and mussels and they were well cooked and quickly delievered considering it was packed to the rafters. It lacks a romantic ambience (maybe because there were so many families there) but apart from that, a lovely evening, much enjoyed.

“It was a shame!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013 via mobile

This is the 3rd year we have visited this part of Cornwall, we've never eaten at this particular resturant but thought how nice it looked. Tonight (29th aug 2012) the last night of our hols, we thought we'd pop in for an early evening tea. We have 2 girls aged 5 & 18 months & the wait for them was awful! We watched as tables that ordered after us got served. When my 5 year olds 'pasta & tomato sauce' arrived she seemed uninterested & ate but a few mouthfuls - which confused us as she was very hungry! On inspection I realised it was just pasta & tinned tomatos - no garlic, no onion - nothing that made it a 'sauce'. A charge of £4 for that is not acceptable!! I ordered 'moules traditional' as a main (9.50) 3
slices of crusty bread, no finger bowl, & no spare bowl for the shells, & not really a fair amount of mussels to make a meal.

The setting is so perfect, but the service & food were a real let down!!

We do our best to advise patrons who 'drop in' that they may wait longer for their food than those who have reserved a table prior. Given the large number of tables we have inside and out we feel this is only fair, and I apologise if this was not made clear to you.
