“A lovely evening...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2015

Been to the Angarrack this evening with our family that are here on hols.
We knew we could take them in there now as its had major clean up after last landlady.....
The menu was fine ,we were told a new menu is coming soon ....as it was limited ....
The staff were friendly and very helpful ,and the food was very nice ,the chicken ,the burger the scampi, and lasagne ,we all enjoyed our meal .....
Just one thing was that it was a we'd eve,and not many people in there,so it was cold ,no heating on at all ,so yes a great evening but heating is very much needed......

“A local pub that deserves to succeed ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2015

We went as a large group for Sunday lunch. Having prebooked to ensure we hot a table. There were already several parties settled in. As only Sunday roasts were available there was no need for a menu. A reasonable Selection of meats to choose from and offered by the friendly team on duty. All arrived piping hot with vegetables served on the side in individual portions.
As a free house the selection of beers is better than a tied pub.
All reasonably priced and we will return when we can.

“Mixed feelings”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2015

Visited on Saturday evening with family.
Their was a good selection of starters, however I felt that the mains were a bit limited.
The homemade nachos were very good although they had run out of sour cream.
Two people at the table had pies, reasonably sized, but as they were individual pies, there was a lot of pastry and dry, even with the extra gravy provided. Also the vegetables were a bit undercooked.
However it was reasonably priced and I was informed by my better half that the chocolate brownie was excellent.
