Good views also, nice friendly pub. Garden is located overlooking the beach. Gets very popular in the summer. Can be a bit windy at times so take a jumper.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013

Just been for a lunch time meal at the Bowgie Inn. I had a pint and a pasty with chips, my wife had a rack of ribs, chips plus half a pint. Both meals were good and the cost was £25 in total. We thought it reasonable value considering the fantastic views out across the bay and the ocean. Beautiful place to be.

“Brilliant views bit pricey on food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

Loved the views from Bowgie's Inn, very nice place to sit outside or in to have a drink or some food and look out to the ocean. Only downfall was that food was quite pricey, would have cost alot if a family had eaten here. Cheapest food on menu was obviously starters and then the Bowgie's burger, this was a great burger though and portions were quite big so maybe makes price more understandable.

“Great meal with wonderful view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013 via mobile

May 2013, had two great meals here whilst staying in crantock for a week. The view is amazing albeit a bit chilly outside with the wind. The children's meals are healthy portions and the chicken nuggets are by far the best on the kids menu (real chicken) my wife and I between us had rack of ribs (lovely home made colesaw on the side), rump steak (cooked as I ordered it, very tasty too), Cajun chicken (tasty sauce), lasagne (flavoursome). I must add they do 4 ales on tap Betty stoggs, bombardier, doom bar and tribute. I had all 4 and highly recommend the tribute but that's just my taste. Service was very quick although we were there at a quiet time. Great meal will visit again!
