We have just spent 7 nights at Crantock Beach and were very impressed. Caravan was clean, spacious and had amazing sea views, the beach was stunning and the village idyllic....what more could you ask for! a very friendly and quiet site with lovely walks, fab scenery and extremely clean and well kept. Good pubs in village, tea rooms, gift shop and post office/shop. The friendliness of the village locals is second to none. Visit the Bowgie at the top end of the village, the view is fab and good live music. Would definitely visit again!

just returned from a weeks holiday at crantock beach holiday park and i am finding it very hard to give a negative comment. The park was clean , quiet and in the perfect location for travelling to nearby Newquay , Padstow , Port Issacc and Perranporth . Although i had read previous reviews saying the access lane to the park was a very narrow lane ( only to be expected in Cornwall ) once we had driven up and down it a few times it was fine. Plus if you come out of the park and turn right this is a much easier and shorter route . It also brings you out near the beautiful Crantock Beach. We stayed in a Padstow caravan which was ideal , lovely seaview and because we right on the end didnt have to many neighbours. My only criticism here would be a group of 4 lads checking in 2 days before we were due to leave ,opposite us .. a little noisy and the language was vulgar but apart form that it was all good. We were actually surprised the site allowed same sex groups and had we of been staying longer we would have complained but because it was only 2 days we put up with them ,The staff were friendly and polite and as helpful as could be,. One thing if i had to change about the park would be the takeaway .. we used it the first night only ... expecting freshly cooked fish and chips it was all frozen and had to wait 20 minutes for it to cook. Not very tasty and not what you would expect being so close to the sea.. The shop was well stocked ( a little pricey but more than on any other camp site ) but all the essentials were there. Cant wait to return next year.

Room Tip: come out of the park and turn right. This will bring you out by the beach and it is a much shorter r...

We have just got back from a wonderful 7 day stay at Crantock Beach. We stayed in a privately owned caravan so I can only really comment on the Park and facilities itself on here.
However, what I did see of the Parkdean's caravans they did look well maintained and clean.
Location wise this place is second to none with most caravans having an amazing sea view. We watched the sunset every night, brilliant! The beach is only about a 5-10 minute walk away through a field, just be prepared for a bit of a climb back up again! We didn't mind that because the beach was well worth it.
On site facilities consisted of a small well stocked shop, takeaway, bar/diner and a small ammusement arcade. I think they did have entertainment of an evening but we didn't go so cannot comment. All the Park's staff we spoke to were very friendly and they keep the park grounds well maintained.
A few other reviewers have commented on the narrow track up to the park. It is narrow but common sense prevails really, just go slow!
All in all this Park is a great base for exploring Cornwall coupled with that its in a fantastic location 5 mins from the golden white sands of Crantock beach. We'll definitely be back!

Room Tip: Most caravans have a sea view but try and ask for one anyway. Well worth it!

Had a great 4 nights at parkdean Crantock holiday park. Clean mobile home, fantastic facilities, and next to one of the top 50 beaches in the UK.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Good base to sight see. Newquay looking tired, and Pubs in Crantock village very expensive for drinks and food! Almost extortionist!! Eat at the site instead where you don't get ripped off and the food is as good as anywhere.

Would definitely go again.

Room Tip: We stayed in a Ruby Super caravan and had a sea view. It was number 146 I think.

The site is reached by 2 roads. if its your first time go in via Crantock village turn right after post office. Still a good park. Bonus this time beds were made up nice suprise. Lovely quiet site stunning views easy access to beach. Although cardiac hill will get you in trim on the way back. One gripe this time Parkdean can you please reduce height of the sites sleeping policemen serious risk of car damage.

Room Tip: Fix the caravan number when booking and get a sea view
