We had been recommended the Boscastle Farm Shop & Café by friends so went along on Sunday afternoon. Well, what a hidden gem it was!! The café overlooks a stunning view of the north cornwall coast & the coastal path is easily accessed from the café.
We had a slice (huge!!) of delicious chocolate fudge cake & a pot of tea & sat admiring the view. There were other tasty looking cakes, biscuits etc to tempt you & the menu included light lunches of quiches, ploughmans, burgers etc all made freshly using local produce. The pasties looked super scrumptious!!
The café has several tables both indoors & outside, plus a couple of very comfy sofas facing a log burner which I would imagine is very welcome in the colder ,months. There are also computers & free WiFi.
Outside there are some farm animals & a very sturdy wooden climbing play area for children. There are toilets which were clean & well presented.
There was a nice choice of local produce in the farm shop & ample parking, although it could easily fill up as this place becomes more well known.
This café & farm shop is well worth a visit & will definitely be a hit with both locals & tourists. The staff are very friendly & helpful.
