We had a very relaxing week staying in this wonderful accommodation. We had a warm welcome from the owners, and were showed around the Old Rectory Stables. We were self catering (but they do B&B if you prefer). The open plan lounge with small dinning table and fully equipped kitchen was lovely. We had a double bedroom with en-suite shower, and another twin room with en-suite. Both bedrooms were of a good size, and had comfy beds. All bedding and towels are supplied. The outlook from the bedroom(s) and lounge was on to fields and hills, perfect. The welcome pack of wine, milk, cheese, bread, biscuits, tea, coffee, jams was much appreciated. Just a 10 min walk from the property is the canal with a wondeful path which you can walk along for absolute miles. There were also walks from the property over the hills/fields. The property allowed dogs, and had garden furniture where we often sat and had breakfast or a pot of tea after our day out walking. We took a look in the property next to ours, which you can also holiday in - Old Rectory Loft - and again this was just amazing accommodation. We will definately go back, and would highly recommend this for a peacful and relaxing holiday, probably one of the best places we've ever stayed.
