“Worth a visit on a nice day”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Worth a visit especially for the Ten Thousand Villages shop. They have merchandise produced from all over the world that permit the artisans to support themselves and earn a decent living wage using sustainable and recycled materials. Kling House restaurant for lunch is good also. The Village Quilts is nice to see some really beautiful quilts and the Jam & Relish Kitchen with all their free samples is fun. If I wasn't so full after the Kling House for lunch, I would've tried the homemade ice cream from Lapp Valley Farms. I plan to return and do so next time along with a visit to the Pepper Lane Fudge & Sweets shop as they have a sugar free selection as well. The place is a little touristy, but if you don't mind that too much, it can be a fun way to spend a couple of hours on a nice afternoon as it is similar to an outdoor mall requiring some walking between shops.

“A must do in PA Dutch.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2014

We visit a couple of times a year. It's a cute little village with many shops. They sell quilts candles, fudge pretzels, ice cream and my very favorite The jams and relish kitchen. They have a nice cafe and even an Inn. You can sit and listen to live music. There's a cute little playground and petting farm for the kiddies. It's a very nice place to walk around and relax.

“Just a big mall”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

There are lots of stores here, but it's really simply a tourist mall. You can get lots of stuff that seems like it's Amish. But really it's a place for snacks. No biggie. I wouldn't go back.

“Still good after all these years”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

I've been going to Kitchen Kettle and Kitchen Kettle Village for the past 45 years, anytime we are even close to the area. We visited before attending a memorial service in Millersville on 6/28. It is always enjoyable (even with the growing crowds each year). It has become our family tradition to visit at least once per year. The staff is friendly in all the shops. My only setback is being claustrophobic, it can get a little overwhelming with all the people on a Saturday. Next visit will be a weekday when it it's not quite so crowded.

Thanks for patronizing Kitchen Kettle Village for the last 45 years! If the crowds bother you, Monday is the best day of the week to visit. There are not as many people traveling, including the bus traffic. We hope you will continue to visit for another 45 years! Thanks again.

“Nice place to look for interesting things”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

I especially loved the store where they sold amazing jams jelly's,pickles etc. They made the most amazing spicy marinara sauce! I normally am not a person that likes pasta sauce but let me tell you this sauce is so good I could drink this stuff! If you stop at kitchen kettle village stop here and sample everything! I bought 2 jars of the marina but wish I bought more!
