“Simply the Best”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2010

This is consistently the best south-asian restaurant in the area. A group of 23 of us had a delicious meal last week, good menu and good value. This was our second visit as a group and they did not disappoint. Raj and his team give excellent service, nothing is too much trouble.

“Trip Advisor didn't let us down”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2010

We took our daughter out for a meal and before we went I look at Trip Advisor for a suggestion. Came across Annapurna being 1st on Twickenham list so went to try. I have lived in Twickenham all my life and I love Indian & Chinese food and have tried various in Twickenham area - some good, some not so bad but Annapurna left all the rest way behind. Excellent service, Excellent food. Highly recommended. Many thanks Trip Advisor. (Even if it's a trip to your local restaurant!)

“MY FAVOURITE RESTAURANT....IN THE WORLD!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2010

Having travelled to every continent on the Earth except Anarctica, I've been around a bit and I've eaten a wide variety of food in a wide variety of establishments. I like food with a kick and the Chilli Chicken starter at the Annurpurna is as good as it gets. It compliments the nice fresh plate of carrots, cucumber, tomato and lettuce you get given to munch on upon arrival. The Gurkhali Lamb is my favourite main course...a nice pretty spicy Nepalese village style curry. The Annapurna has a nice ambience; it's a fairly small place that doesn't have large parties of people "celebrating" and bellowing their heads off which is often such an annoying part of eating out these days. It's OK for paries of up to about 8. The quality of the food is consistently good and the service is A1. Prices are also very reasonable at about at about £34 per head for 3 courses including (good) wine and service. I love the place and it's very popular wth my family and friends. . My wife particularly likes the cod dishes. Well...give it a go!

“We've never had a bad meal at this restaurant - and we are fussy about our food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2010

This restaurant is Nepalese but serves all your indian favourites (minus floating in all the ghee) and so many more tantalising choices. The food is of an exceptional quality - prepared to order with fresh ingredients. We live in a city with tons of indian restaurants but have not found one yet that can compare with the Annapurna - so much so that when we fancy good spicy food we travel the 50 mile round trip just to get a takeaway or have a meal in the restaurant. We never hesitate to recommend it and often take our friends there - all of whom love the food and the service. The staff and manager are very friendly and extremely obliging at all times. We are always trying to tempt the manager to open a restaurant in our city as we know it would be an even bigger success as Powermill Lane is quite a quiet area. On wednesday evenings main meals are half price and there is a Sunday buffet for £9.95 - again all made fresh and to order (not kept hot in stainless steel serving trays). In short we love it and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys their food.
