Spending a full week in London can become very expensive so we decided to stay out in the burbs for a couple of the nights to save money. This was a great decision as the hotel is wonderful with nicely sized rooms and a friendly staff. The commute to London isn't terrible, the train station is about a 10 minute walk away from the hotel and if you catch a fast train (I think they run every 30 minutes or so) it takes less than 30 minutes to get to London Waterloo station.
What was slightly disappointing with the hotel was that neither breakfast or internet was included and both were ridiculously priced. Breakfast was 20 pounds per person and internet for the room was 15 pounds per day. I would suggest going to the Waitrose grocer beside the train station and getting your own breakfast goodies there and using wifi at the Starbucks about 20 minutes from the hotel on the high street of Twickenham.
