Still an excellent deal for park and stay. Staff maintain their friendly demeanor and always asking to assist.
Bokked in as a Accor platinum card holder and was told I was upgraded. This was not obvious in the room or elsewhere. No conditioner provided and had to be requested. The same was true for slippers : a usual standard in Sofitel. Unlike their Gatwick sister, only two bottles of water, not four. Likewise LGW always offers its card holde r a gift, often a small box of quality chocolates, not here. I can only put this down to the economy, but it knocks one point off their score, as did the unavailability of one of the restaurants for an hour that evening.
Its all a bit of a pity because I so like their offering.
