An excellent stopover prior to our flight to Miami. The proximity to Terminal 5 could not be better.
We also visited the hotel on our return on 1st. February after arriving at Terminal 5 at 6.00 am we had a wonderful breakfast which at £19.95 was excellent value for money.

Just next to terminal five. 1 minute walk internally. Breakfast is great - everything you want either ready made or cooked to order including Japanese breakfast. Great hotel bar. Staff very accommodating. Bedding is so comfortable it's hard to get up in the morning.

I stay at the Sofitel before I fly out to the Bahamas because the flight is too early for me to comfortably make it there in time. The rooms are expensive, there is no doubt about it, but they are exquisite, ultra comfortable, totally soundproof, and guarantee a good night's sleep. Even the pillows are downy soft, my personal standard for a great hotel room - soft, comfy pillows are de rigueur. Restaurants are excellent and offer a gluten-free option, even down to gluten-free bread with your lentil soup. Excellent service from a superb chain, who could wish for more?
