“Theatre Trip to London”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2014

Went to see a show in London this weekend and stayed at the Jury's Inn. The hotel was very nice and the staff are freindly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and Beds very comfortable.

We stayed for two nights and the room was cleaned and towels change everyday.

We had breakfast on the saturday morning which was a buffet style help all you can eat. It was a little expensive for £11 per person but was nice.

You are very close to Heathrow and can watch airplanes land and take off from the hotel. Having said that whilst inside the hotel you can not hear them at all.

Dear Christopher C

Thanks for your review. We really value guest feedback so that we can constantly review our standards to make sure we get things right. As you say, we are well suited not only for airport trips, but also for central London. We are a 2 minute walk from Hatton Cross tube station, where you can get to Hammersmith in 30 minutes or Green Park in 40 minutes.
I hope to see you in Jurys Inn in the future.

I stayed for business one night before flying from Heathrow and found this to be an excellent hotel. It's only a couple of minutes walk from Hatton Cross tube station - there is also a shuttle bus that runs approx every 30 minutes, but it is a very convenient location.

The room was very clean and a good standard. It's a Jury's Inn, so it is basic, but the price is very fair considering it is so close to the airport. It's also much cheaper than central London prices. I had a very quiet night of sleep despite being so close to the runway. They have obviously got the best insulation and glazing. Only problem was a medium warm shower in the morning around 7.30am, but I guess it's because the demand on water is so high then.

I ate in the restaurant and was very pleased with the service and quality of food. It was very busy, but to be expected.

Overall, I would stay here again and was impressed.

I found the food to be very diverse, especially the night we had the Indian street food. Bhel and chat ,not mention all the other mouth water food on the menu. My compliments to Raj the chef who made my stay there very enjoyable.

Dear Nilesh1711

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We have recently started a Carvery and Themed buffet on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening in our restaurant and so far the feedback has been great. I am delighted that you also found it be so.

We stayed for a Rugby game close by at Twickenham. The hotel kindly let us check in really early and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were decent enough and were spot on for 1 night stay's. The hotel is right at the end of the runway at Heathrow but we heard very little noise from the planes. We ate quiet late on the Saturday night and the food was OK, nothing special. My 1 gripe was being charged for car parking! I do find it annoying when the hotel charge extra to park there while you stop there!
Overall, friendly, clean hotel and a reasonable price

Dear andyquinn

Thank you for your review. I am please that you found the hotel location good for your needs at Twickenham. I am sorry that you were not aware of our parking charges and will feed that back to our marketing department to try and make it clearer on the website. Our £7 overnight parking charge remains one of the most competative in the Heathrow area and we will ensure it remains to be so.

Thank you once again

3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

We stayed for a couple nights at Jurys Inn -Heathrow and was a decent and cumfy enough stay. The lobby is quite huge and there are some restaurants and a gift shop there. The rooms are good, although a tad bit motel-ish (coming from Canada) and the shower is part of a bath tub, which could/should be made into a stand up shower. Besides that everything was great. The rooms were clean, beds were decent (they roll on their own so careful!) and the staff was friendly whenever called upon. They accommodated to some of our needs such as extra drinking glasses, another pillow, etc. The hotel is excellent if you have to fly in/out of Heathrow, and you are literally 3 minutes walk away from the Hatton Cross Tube station, which will quickly and effectively get you into Central or other parts of London. Food is tricky ! and you would need a car or cab to get some choices. Although there are some of the "Big boys" in the same Bath Road area (all hotels near airport) such as Marriott, Sheraton etc....JURYS INN is definitely great for the value. If you have a 3 to 4 star budget, I would recommend it, if you can spend some more than check into one of the big boys !

Room Tip: Room facing the Airport, Pretty decent view !

The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly especially those on the Costa Coffee café. The hotel rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is apparently converting into the Hilton Garden hotel next year when it is all due to be refurbished but that said, although it could do with a bit of modernising it was NOT shabby in any way.

The hotel is about a 7 minute walk from Hatton Cross tube but it is a bit of a lonely walk at night & over a foot bridge - as it is based in the commercial part of the airport near the hangers etc. However it was well lite and very convenient for the underground which is about 30 minutes to Piccadilly but you always get a seat on the journey out.

For airport fans, it is an amazing experience with views of aeroplanes being towed and other airport related views. My young son spent a lot of time taking photographs from the windows.

You could not hear a single aeroplane but the rooms were a bit noisy is my only criticism. I could hear the person next door from time to time.

What made the hotel was the staff who were amazingly helpful and nice to the children

Room Tip: Sixth floor
