We stayed here in order to go into Central London for two days. We got a good price - £49.50 a night and liked the location, because it's very close to Hatton Cross tube station.
Our room was on the 7th floor and overlooked a farm! which was a bit strange, but in the mornings we did see planes coming in to land at Heathrow. We didn't hear them at all (triple glazing) so that was a plus.
The room was actually quite big, but the bed was just a standard double, which is fine but when booking a double at other hotels around Heathrow we've been used to getting a queen or king size bed.
There was also a table and desk in the room, as well as a cabinet thing which goes all round the bed. We actually found all the furniture a bit excessive, it wasn't really useful and I doubt people stay at this hotel for weeks at a time so it wasn't really needed. It was all a bit dated, which is weird as a sign in reception says the hotel opened in 2003. The furniture looks like its from the 60s.
The bathroom was the worst bathroom we've come across in a while. The shower was fine, but in a cheap looking cubicle, no bath. A plastic ring on the shower head fell off as soon as we used it the first night. We left this in the shower, but it wasn't fixed, just left there. Another thing was the toiletries in the bathroom, they are ones that are refilled and are of an awful quality. They smell funny and the shampoo made my hair squeak (which I don't think is a good sign) - I'd recommend bringing your own.
In the night a 6ft long (very thin and flimsy) strip of wood fell from the cabinet around the bed too, so that was odd. No biggy but it made a loud bang. Nothing seemed very sturdy.
The bed was hard, but we actually slept well. It was quite comfortable but nothing to rave about.
The one thing that is really good about this hotel is its location. You can walk to Hatton Cross tube station in 5 minutes from the hotel, and then its 40 mins into Central London. There's no need to get a bus, which gave it something over the better hotels on Bath Road. Another good thing to point out is that parking is only £7 for 24 hrs which is really good compared to other hotels.
All in all this hotel was ok for the price, and good for the location, but I don't think we'd recommend it. It's definitely a budget hotel, probably on a par with a Travel Lodge or Premier Inn.
