“Comfortable, friendly, perfect spot!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

I decided to stay here with my parents when they visited me. Considering their flight back was from Heathrow, this was indeed a perfect spot. Not too far from the stations and friendly staff with food / beverages downstairs. Even during the heavy snow, you need not step out since it's all right there for you.

The Jurys Inn is a tad isolated at the rear of Heathrow. Near the local train station its a short walk to the hotel , otherwise you rely on the airport "Hotel Hoppa" service , or an expensive taxi.
The hotel is relatively modern with efficient check-in by smiling receptionists. Ay 86 UK pounds ( approx US$140) including buffet breakfast and VAT , it is good value in an area renowned for expensive rooms - booked direct on Jury's website for a stay in late December 2012.
The rooms are spartan , but well equpped with decent bathrooms - the only downside in my room during one stay was a 'drainy' smell from the handbasin (I stayed twice in a period of a two week stay in the UK , in and out of Heathrow). Buffet breakfast was well done , with variety , and a good range of dishes offered. One noticeable thing is that there is no aircraft noise at all in the rooms , probably due to the high standard of double/triple glazing on the windows.
The one real highlight of the stay was the personal service offered by Kusal (a trainee) in the dining room at breakfast.....he noticed a disabled man travelling alone (suffering from Parkinsons disease I suspect), and served the man , from the buffet , with the breakfast he wanted - he then stood by the man's table opening the marmalade , and spooning sugar into his coffee and doing anything else the man needed.......no-one told Kusal to do it , no-one was watching him (except me) , and was a heartwarming sight , in an increasingly impersonal world....Kudos to him as I suspect it is a reflection of his personal values.
The Jurys Inn offers budget priced comfort , and worth the effort to get there despite the slightly obscure location.

Room Tip: Higher rooms offer a slightly better view .

Hotel is ok if it's just for a night before your holiday. Food is not too good the chips tasted like oven chips they were so dry and £3.30 for a coke is a bit steep. Plus car park ticket hadn't been activated so had to go all the way back in the rain for them to do it

2nd stay at this hotel. 1 big block from tube Hatton Cross Tube station. When leaving Heathrow on Tube, 1st stop - very convienent! 1st time we stayed was because we had early flight from Heathrow. 2nd time we stayed 4 nights and took tube into London every day. Very nice hotel and a lot less expensive than staying in London - even when we bought a day pass for the tube every day. We've stayed in London before - very expense and you don't get as nice a room as the Jurys Inn.

Room Tip: Make sure you ask for a King if you want a king.

Stayed for 1 night as had business meeting at Heathrow, room clean and a good size.
The service at reception was good and efficient,

The food was good at night time, I arrived for breakfast at 8.30am and most off the buffet was empty. But what I had was good.

Will stay again if in the area.

We (family of 4) stayd one night at this hotel on our trip from Norway to Florida. The hotell is 'close' to the airport, proximately 5-10 minutes by taxi that cost about 10-15 pondus. There was a que when we checed in, proximately 10 minutes. The rom was ok and clean. We was avare that our lougage was sent directly to us, so we lacked clean underwear, and other needed articles. The only way to get some of these articles was to go to the small shop in the lobby that only had a limited sortiment, and there wasent and nerby shops. Before going to beed I asked in the reseption if breacfaste was included, and the answere were no. I didn,t remeber if I had ordered or not, so I thok it for granted that we then hadent ordered. After going to slepp I woke up by the '"noic" from a noter family in the rom next door. They wasent loud, but the walls were to thin. Next morning when checking out I asked again of we had ordered breakfaste, and the answere was yes! Ordering taxi to the hotel whent quick. All in all is this hotel ok, and close to the airport.

The hotel lobby has a big hotel feel but the rooms (certainly my single) are very small in comparison with other major hotel chains in the Heathrow area. Wake up call was ten minutes late which is odd for an automated system and pretty bad for an airport hotel! One big advantage for those coming by Underground is that it is a few hundred metres from Hatton Cross tube station meaning you don't have to go to Heathrow station and then wait for a bus at Central Bus Station. This probably saves half an hour getting there. The hotel is close to T4 though not close enough to walk!
