There is only one reason why anybody of sound mind would want to stay in a Bath Road hotel and it starts with "H". "H" stands for Hell-Hole, aka Heathrow!

We had to return a hire car and be on our 37-hour, 3-leg flight to Brisbane at around 8 am the next day so we used Premier Inn 15 Bath Road for our last night in the UK. It was a very good decision.

The hotel has a large and convenient car park from which to carry luggage from hire car to reception to lift to room. The reception staff were pleasant and polite and the room was big enough for a large sofa on which to deposit our two 30 kilogram cases, plus two smaller carry-on bags. The bathroom was adequate and everything was clean.

After returning the hire car, taking a courtesy bus to Terminal 5 followed by a Hoppa Bus back to the hotel it was time to eat. On the ground floor there was a bar, coffee shop and a large restaurant. We chose the restaurant and were welcomed by several more polite staff and shown to a table of our choice by an attentive waiter.

The meals were well cooked and delivered promptly. Our drinks waiter was also attentive and a sub-manager dropped by to inquire after our satisfaction with the service. Absolutely fine thank you.

As we left the lift lobby in the morning we used a convenient scale to measure the weights of our baggage to be checked. Checking out took seconds and we used a white telephone to ring for a cab (we could instead have used a Hoppa Bus and it would have taken 15-20 minutes to reach Terminal 4).

This hotel has good staff, clean if basic rooms and was exactly what we needed for our purpose. The bonus was that the tariff, at only 29 pounds for the double room when booked via the Internet, was well less than half that of anywhere else we had stayed for the previous six weeks.

As far as Heathrow Airport hotels go you really have to go a long way to beat the Premier Inn for value for money. Keeping things brief and to the point I will try and explain why, however, previous reviews sum up the positives just as well.

A great location not just for convenient access to all terminals either by bus or car it is also fantastic for spending a few minutes watching the never ending approach of aircraft. That aside, upon arrival one Sunday evening (7pm) we were efficiently and quickly checked-in by a very friendly and accommodating receptionist, certainly no sign whatsoever of the rudeness mentioned in previous reviews. A seemingly endless stretch of corridors saw us to our room, luckily a corner room overlooking the road (A4) to the front, but no noise whatsover thanks to excellent soundproofing.

Admittedly the room was basic, but what more do you expect for £29 a nigh (pre-booked rate 6 weeks in advance). Above all the room and bathroom were clean, comfortable and quiet although a little on the warm side.

Plenty of space in the hotel bar for a reasonably priced drink before a reasonable nights sleep given a 4am start. At the time of our stay the hotel had a good buzz and feel to it without being overcrowded, certainly no sign of marauding masses of uncontrolled children, however, we did stay ouside of the school holidays.

I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending the Premier Inn for a stop over pre or post flight, even better if you are able to secure a promotion rate.... it really cannot be beaten. Many thans to Premier Inn for a great relaxing start to our holiday.

This hotel was great for the airport, it was right under a flight path for Heathrow but once inside you did not hear the aircraft, must be due to brilliant insulation. Me and friend stayed here 2 nights to go to the help the heroes concert in Twickenham and we flew from Manchester to Heathrow and it was virtually perfect for our needs.

The check in was very fast and the receptistist very friendly and helpful. The rooms were of a good size, clean and with sattelite tv. My only slight gripe with the room was the bathroom being a shower over a bath and not a walk in shower due to a disability but I managed. The shower its self was quite powerful.

We had a meal and a few drinks at the hotel the night we arrived, we ate in tabletable and both commented that the meal was lovely including the dssert. Drinks in the bar were fairly reasonable and it was a great place to people watch on the comfy sofas as there were people coming and going all evening. There was also a number of big screens which I watched match of the day on and there was a costa coffee and a kids play area.

We had booked twin room and so were chuffed when we realised we had two queen size beds and we both had a great nights sleep they were really comfy!

The receptionist were very helpful when it came to us catching the bus(es) to twickenham the next day and gave us a taxi no. to get back to the hotel later. My only complaint was that when we got back my friend asked for a plaster because I had cut my arm and it took them 10 mins to find one, I just think a hotel of this size and reputation should have simple first aid to hand straight away.

Overall we had a great stay and would definately recommend it and if ever i'm in the area I would stay here, no question.

We stayed here for 1 night beofre flying out on holiday- i'm pretty sure its the premier inn from the TV advert. £46 a night of 3 people.
The reception staff were lovely and actually made you feel welcome. The room standard was much higher than some other premier inns i've stayed at. There is a coffee shop, restuarant, bar, kids play area.... they've thought of everything.
I must have missed the information when i booked the hotle that you pay to park - I think it was £6 a night. There's also a viewing landing for the planes which my daughter loved, and the airport is so close!

The rooms were well sound proofed so we got a good nights sleep - just what you want.
Great hotel.

We stayed here whilst visiting friends in early September. I've stayed here before, on an 8 week training course, so was well acquainted with the property. It was extremely busy this night as there were a lot of international softball teams staying. The car park was packed out and we had to park down the middle of one of the car park lanes. Check in was pretty quick and the lady behind the desk was very pleasant and efficient. Our room was all ready and made up for the three of us. We had a room over looking the Bath Road. The room was well glazed and quiet. The bed was nice and firm but the pillows were too soft for our liking and we both woke up with stiff necks. My Son slept soundly which is always good! The bathroom was perfectly adequate. Tea and coffee stuff was available in the room along with water glasses. My one gripe is that the aircon wasn't cold enough, but that's just me. Would I stay again? For a night, yes I would. It does what it says on the tin which is a cheap, clean, comfortable room.
