“A nice premier inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

Stayed in this hotel before. Sticking a flight from Heathrow.

It is everything you would expect from the newer Premier Inns.

Comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms and helpful staff.

The entrance hall is massive with a choice of food and drink. I didn't sample them but others around seem impressed.

Stayed 1night before a flight after travelling by coach. Hoppa from central bus station arrived right outside the door. Checkin was quick and easy, nice receptionist. Room was clean, comfortable and not too hot, Food and drinks were of a good standard and reasonable price. Room was excellent for £39.00!!

We stayed in the Bath Road Premier Inn for an overnight stop prior to an early departure from Heathrow. It was a modern and comfortable hotel and the huge lobby had a great atmosphere with plenty of people enjoying a drink, a meal or snack in the variety of places available. The room was of a high standard and very comfortable as is usual with any Premier Inn we have used. No noise whatsoever from the planes landing close by. We had a nice dinner at a good price in the restaurant and a drink in the bar afterwards where the atmosphere was excellent. We will use this hotel again when travelling through Heathrow.

Room Tip: Our room was at the opposite end from the airport runway and was really quiet.

This was the first time I'd stayed at a Premier Inn, and I was very surprised at the quality, size of the hotel and comfort provided, considering the price we'd paid for the room. (£39) Upon arrival we were checked in and sorted within minutes. We then enjoyed a drink from the on site Costa Coffee. Later on in the evening we ate at the onsite restuarant and enjoyed a well cooked steak. Which was very well priced. This hotel is minutes away from Heathrow and if you are not driving you can get the Hotel Hoppa bus to the airport and tickets are £4.00 (single). I was quite surprised by the size of this hotel, incuding the public areas bar/restaurants etc. The room was average size and the bed/pillows were very comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This place makes a big impact on entering. Cavernous main atrium, staffed with attentive personnel. Numerous restaurant, bar areas, vending machines. Definitely way above expectations for a $65/GBP40 hotel.

Rooms are basic, furnished to the level of IKEA, with Premier Inn's typical purple color scheme (which I can't stand). Beds are reasonably comfortable. Hot water arrives quickly and water pressure is good.

I called front desk to ask for a wake-up call at 7am. Desk told me that they do not give wake-up calls and I should use the telephone or TV. I looked around for instructions on how to do that and there were none. I called the front desk again and he gave me instructions, which I tried but did not have much faith in. So I called back to confirm the instructions. I also looked for instructions on how to use the TV wake-up but could not find any. I called the front desk and asked for instructions on that, which he walked me though. Being a cautious traveler, I set both TV and telephone for a 7am wake up.

Neither the TV nor the phone went off at 7am. I missed my flight home and had to pay extra $$$ to get on a one-stopper through LAX, which added hours to my journey home.

I think one might reasonably assume that most people who stay at this hotel have planes to catch next morning. Failure to offer a reliable mechanism for getting guests up in time for their flights, ie to provide written instructions in the room (or competent instructions from the front desk) seems like a pretty major shortcoming.

Bit silly to spend millions of dollars on fancy atriums if you can't get your guest to their flights on time.

Booked this for one night for a flight from Hrow T3. Although flying from T3 stayed at the Premier Inn T5 as it was cheaper than the other one up the road. Got the 423 bus from right outside the hotel 2 stops to the tube station and then the tube to T3. Dont pay for the transfer bus which is £4.50 each I believe - The 423 is FREE within the airport area. The tube is also FREE to T3 if you have an Oyster card. If you dont have one use the Hrow express which is also FREE. Hotel itself was excellent. The staff were all friendly cheerful and helpful. Room was standard Prem Inn, bed comfy, room clean, towels fluffy. No noise from the airport even though you could see the planes taking off from the bar. We paid for the meal deal which was £23each for a 3 course dinner including one drink (soft, pint or glass of wine) and all you can eat breakfast. Not everything on the menu is in the meal deal but we both had a steak and the food was really good. Breakfast had lots of choice, bacon and eggs cerials or pastries. Bar prices were suprisingly reasonable - standard pub prices which is unusual for airport hotel - pint was under £4 and bottle of wine £12. We would definitley stay here again if we fly out of Heathrow. A real gem.

I always stay at this hotel when flying back to USA. I can guarantee a good nights sleep in a very clean and comfortable room. The staff are always helpful and as a female travelling alone I feel secure and safe. The price when booked on line is always good value. The restaurant serves excellent food both at dinner and breakfast, service is very good. Would and do recommend Premier to everyone planning a trip to the UK.
