“Be warned”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 28, 2013

This Travelodge, like all others, serves a purpose, i.e. provides a reasonably cheap bed for a night. Room was OK, clean towels and bedding. Ideal for getting to Heathrow if you have an early flight. Quiet but a bit of a trek from reception. However be warned you may receive a £90 charge notice letter for parking overnight. When we phoned the company we were told to send or email our Travelodge invoice and we wouldn't have to pay. Why cannot Travelodge take our registration number and liaise with the company. Does everyone have this problem?

It's just about ok if you only want 1 night before flight. needs a refurb and a good clean. bed was comfy and clean (thank goodness). Best to leave early and eat breakfast at departure lounge.I will pay a bit more in future and book earlier so I don't have to stay here again.

What an awful hotel won't be rushing back there. Cheap to stay for 1 night, but never again. The only good thing was the Bedding & towels were dean. The carpet was sticky, the sofa was filthy, The walls were dirty, marks where old paint was and needed to have a coat of paint on. Marks left where radiator was moved, screw holes where fixtures were moved.

I stayed here with my partner in February 2013. We needed somewhere cheap to stay for a night that wasn't too far by car to the appollo theatre. We paid about £35 for one night. Staff were friendly, room was clean and extra pillows were available. I come from a quiet village so noise pollution is a worry for me however the windows are triple glazed and neither of us were disturbed by traffic in the night. I'm sure we'll be back!

We stayed for 2 nights Sat and Sunday just gone - 2 adults and 2 kids in a family room. £21 per night booked months ago. Quiet room on first floor, linen spotless, room clean, staff and cleaning people very polite. 10 minutes to Hounslow West tube (free parking weekends) - cheap family weekend in London we will do again definitely. I mean, you can't get anything nowadays for 2 nights for under £45 and this was absolutely fine for the money. Room needed decorating and tiles some attention but so what?

Room Tip: We had family room 241 -hot so slept with window open and no motorway noise

I have stayed in Travel lodges before but this one is certainly on the decline.
Good points the room was clean, the bed was comfy, lots of hot water.
Bad point - No plug for the bath, squeaky uneven bathroom floor, wafer thin pillows and duvet, no extra pillars or blankets. The ceiling was badly stained, the wall above the heater badly stained, the heater did not work, the car park is part of the services therefore little security.
For one night I paid £19:00 but I think I would have paid a little more for added comfort and class

We stayed for one night before an early flight from Heathrow. We didn't expect much - and in that respect we weren't disappointed. Room was tired, as was the entire property. It appeared to be clean enough. There were only 2 very thin pillows in the room - and a single bath towel. When we asked for additional pillows, we were told there were extras in the wardrobe.... There weren't. When we explained this we were told that there were none in the laundry room next to reception, but the receptionist said he would look elsewhere. It seems he didn't. Mattress was very thin, soft and spongy and with only a single thin pillow neither of us got anything close to a good nights sleep. Next time its Premier Inn for us.....

Room Tip: Choose elsewhere!
