I recently stayed at the Hilton Heathrow Airport hotel for 1 night on business before I flew back to the U.S.

This hotel was a very nice way to end my trip, I wish that the hotel I was staying at near my work in Cambridge had been as nice as this hotel, I wouldn't have been in such a rush to get back.

The service is evident from the minute you pull up to the hotel. There is staff everywhere to help you, take your bag, check you in and have you on the way to your room in no time. There almost seems like more staff then guests at times and they are all very friendly.

I stayed in a Queen room that was upgraded to the executive level for being a HHonors Diamond member. That was very welcome as many hotels I stay at don't seem to recognize your hotel level.

The room is fantastic, and even being next to the airport you don't hear anything. The beds are fantastic and the rooms are very modern with a plasma TV and an awesome bathroom with an open rain shower area. The room provided many amenities such as a robe and slippers, free water and coffee service along with all the standards you expect at Hilton.

I ate at the restaurant and the service and food was fantastic and very reasonable for a hotel restaurant. The hotel has a fitness facility which I didn't get to check out but looked quite nice with a pool and good equipment.

This is one of the better airport hotels I have ever stayed at and would easily stay here again. Fantastic hotel with great service.

We stayed here for one night before flying out to Boston, mainly because of their car parking deal, which is excellent value, and the proximity to Terminal 4.

The room was average for a Hilton, the bed was comfortable, and the shower curtain had magnets in the bottom so it stuck to the bath not to you! A small thing, but brilliant!

We ate in Oscars in the lobby, and both food and service were poor: it was also expensive. onsequently we decided to skip breakfast.

We would definitely stay here again for the car parking and the ease of getaway on our return - but we would eat elsewhere before.

The hotel should not be advertised as 'on the airport grounds'. A mile-long tunnel does not constitute being at the airport. At least the off-grounds hotels have shuttles. When I asked about transportation to the terminal, after walking the long tinnel, I was told that I could either have a golf cart drive us back to the terminal, and then take a train OR a $40 taxi ride. What? I had three toddlers and luggage. They wouldn't even take more than three on the golf cart at once (three was the rule - even with small babies!). The ONLY reason that I booked this hotel was that it was 'on the airport grounds'. I never would have booked it otherwise. Because it was just a regular old yucky airport hotel. Unless you are an adult who can easily walk a mile with your luggage, do not book this hotel. I am an avid jogger, but after a long flight and luggage and kids, I arrived bedraggled. The staff had zero sympathy, as if I should have known how long of a walk I was in for. Also, The Tunnel only connects you to Terminal 4, so then it is another series of elevators and a train...you get the idea. Stay at a hotel with a shuttle.

I could not be happier with my stay. Location to rental car returns and terminal 4 was great! The room was clean and comfortable the bed was good the towels were new and there was a nice flat screen TV as well as a fridge and dimming lights near the bed. It is expensive but I would reccomend it if you want to avoid a hassle when flying out in the morning.
