“"Exquisite restaurant"”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

The warm welcome that we received in this lovely restaurant made us immediately feel very at home. It is obvious that the family who own and manage the restaurant care about their guests, as they were very attentive to my elderly parents, and even put a candle in my father's dessert as it was his birthday (and checked with us before doing so, in case he would be embarrassed). The homemade bread and canapes were delicious. Our main course was cooked to perfection, and the choice of desserts was mouthwatering, I had the tiramisu but intend to go back and try them all!

“Stunning food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

An early valentines evening with my better half. Very pleasant welcome from the family. Homemade breads and Amuse bouche pizza and pasty very tasty. We then had risotto balls and the stunning lobster and crayfish ravioli for starters. Then duck and fillet of beef for mains. Finished off with the sambuca ice cream with chocolate fondant and chocolate mousse with coconut and nougat ice cream. It was all beautiful and we will be going back very soon.

“Great restaurant with friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 10, 2013

We had a very nice lunch here today. The food was all delicious and the veal was very tender. It was nicely presented and the people running the restaurant were friendly and helpful. We were given canapes and homemade bread before the meal arrived, and the service was just the right speed - time to chat between courses but we didn't feel we were sat waiting for long.

I am very much looking forward to going back again soon.

“Interesting start to Christmas!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

We booked for early on Christmas Eve as our daughter was heavily pregnant. However we had to change the booking because of visiting hours as she had been admitted to hospital. The restaurant could not have been more accommodating, especially as this was quite a busy night. On arrival they were concerned and interested about the new mum and baby who was born that morning! We were very impressed with the choice and standard of the food and wine served, but would have enjoyed our evening anyway, because of the lovely family who own and manage this restaurant.

“Lobster & Crab Ravioli EVERYTIME....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2012

Have been here a few times with friends and we have always enjoyed the food. Its always fesh, tasty and very well presented. The family are SO friendly it really does feel like being at home.

Great value as the bread is home made and the amuse bouche is so tasty. I always have the Lobster & crab raviol followed by the Sea bass and grape sauce and have never been dissapointed. The desserts (all home made) are fabulous also. They do not have cocktails but the Sambuca & Wine went down very nicely.

Another review said, "Once you go, you will want to keep going back" it is very true!!!
