Had heard that new owners had taken over so went for an evening meal last Saturday. The experience was very pleasant: the staff made us most welcome and the food could not have been bettered. The dishes were quite different from each other in terms of colour, taste and texture (not always the case in some Indian eateries!). There is parking immediately outside the restaurant, which is adjacent to the Griffin Hotel. A word though to those of a certain age - take reading glasses if you want to decipher the menu, as the print is miniscule for the most part and the lighting, while appropriate for a relaxed atmosphere, is not very bright. This is a minor 'criticism', however.
