“A Pleasure to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2010

Our first visit to the Sunflower, and we were very happy with what we found. The rooms are very clean and have every thing you could want. I would recomend this hotel for your visit.
No complaints of any kind, you even get a free car parking pass.

The hospitality, accommodation and food at the Sunflower Lodge are all exceptional. The room we stayed in was of a high standard with many extras demonstrating a genuine sense of customer care. As well as a variety of tea, coffee and biscuits, fresh daily milk was provided in a small room fridge. The bed linen and towels were of a good quality and the room had a flat screen TV and internet access. The breakfast was beautifully prepared and the service was both friendly and helpful representing extremely good value for money. We would highly recommend this hotel. The owners make you feel very welcome and it is clear that they want to provide an excellent service.

My wife & I chose the Sunflower Lodge after another guest house in the area we selected was full, and they recommended it. What great advice it was, as we could not imagine our original choice being any better. The Sunflower was cheaper too. Our room was a good size and very clean. It was a family room with a double + another single bed, but we were only charged at the double room rate. There were lots of extras you do not normally get at such a reasonable rate (£54 per night), such as our own mini fridge in the room which included fresh milk for the plentiful tea & coffee sachets supplied. The breakfasts were excellent, with a choice of fruit juices, cereals, croissants and fruit, a full English breakfast, or lighter cooked options. It all helped to make it a great weekend break.

Stopped in bridlington quite a few times in the last seven years. Wont have to search the net for a b and b ever again, the sunflower lodge is fantastic. Clean ,modern, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Great value for money and a breakfast to die for. My little girl thought it was great to have a telly and a playstation to play on whilst we were on holiday. Oh and five minutes walk from a pub that does decent home cooked food, what more could you ask for. Tracey, Andy and Ellie from Rotherham.

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Sunflower Lodge, we stayed for 2 nights over our first wedding anniversary. Right from the onset, we were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Our room was fantastic, we would recommend the 'Tulippa Room!' The room was very clean and the en suite was lovely. We felt very comfortable, it was perfect a relaxing weekend away.
Sunflower Lodge is only a 5 minute walk to the sea front. this was lovely, as we were able to walk all the way along the promenade. There are many nice shops and bars to have a leisurely walk around.
We only have postive things to say about Sunflower Lodge and we will definetly visit again. Thankyou.

Right from the 1st phone call, a good feeling about this B&B. Isla and John have set a very high standard in my mind now about what a B&B can be. The rooms were exceptionally well appointed - good clean linen and furniture, a very clean bathroom and towels with all toiletries provided, a very high grade of fittings and decor - all tastefully put together to make the stay a memorable experience.
The food was very good and served in a manner that woud put high cost hotels to shame. The hosts clearly take great pride in what they do and my congratulations to them on a job well done!!! The stairs are well stocked with good quality books, games and music ... DVD Player with the Telly and all for a sensible price!
And finally, for birders (like my daughte & I), there is the added bonus of swifts nesting in the eaves of the delightful 'Poppy Room' on the third floor!!!
