We have eaten at the Bull and Sun several times over the last few years and have always been very satisfied with the excellent home-cooked food. The menu is very much traditional Yorkshire pub lunch, with a good sprinkling of pies, grills and fish dishes. We have tried many of these and have enjoyed them all. Portion sizes are not for the faint hearted, especially when coupled with a well kept pint of mild on a cold day. Staff are pleasant and chatty and there is a regular clientele of groups of office staff and the recently retired.
Very short walk to the historic Priory church and the Bayle museum is on the doorstep.
No doubt we will return.
