“Just lovely”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013 via mobile

I have eaten at Times Gone By many times when visiting a friend who lives locally, usually their fabulous breakfast but also the marvellous Sunday lunch. Always a warm welcome, always a smile and always delicious traditional food at a fantastically reasonable price. If you visit Brid you are missing out if you don't visit this gem of a place.

“A bit disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 10, 2013

My wife and I quite frequently visit Bridlington and decided to look around for a decent café. Wandering down the back streets we came across Times Gone By and it looked interesting so we went in. It was certainly a trip down memory lane and it felt like we were back in the fifties however great the cafes theme was the food was a bit disappointing. It just seemed to miss out on being a great breakfast and the service was a little off. Value wised it was Ok but I have been in better cafes in the town. Good try though.

“an authentic stepping back in time experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

Everything about this place makes you feel like you're stepping back in time from the furniture, memorabilia, and even the customers in some cases!! food was delicious, good value, and well presented. Service was swift and friendly. would love to go back if im ever in Bridlington again. highly recommend if you want a post-war experience.

“great food & lovely atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

This unusual and delightful little café does not disappoint, serves great food in a lovely nostalgic atmosphere. The café really makes a great effort and it is full of memorabilia with lots of interesting things to see and chat about over great food. The service is friendly and welcoming with good choices of freshly prepared hot and cold food. A real little gem and not expensive. Myself and 3 girlfriends had lovely lunch whilst on a day trip to Bridlington and we had looked up where to eat before hand and this came out with great reviews and definitely lived up to our expectation. You will not be disappointed. Very easy to find and well worth going. Would strongly recommend you pay this delightful and wonderful little café a visit. Lincolnshire Girls xx
