“Unasssuming & excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2012

Me and my partner ate here on 22 Oct 12. Very relaxed informal dining. Manager very pleasant. The scallops and chrizo i had for a starter were out of this world, what a compliment of foods. The scallops were plump, cooked on the point - perfect. I had fish & chips for mains. The cod was a thick fillet, the flakes fell apart and were translucent white - very very nice. Got to add that the mushy peas were brill and the hand cut chips beat any local fish & chip shop hands down. My partner had plaice for the main - she'd never seen such a thick piece of place that was a brilliant white in colour - like the cod obviously very very fresh.

“Quality and Fresh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2012 via mobile

Excellent service and beautiful food. We tried the lobster and scallops to start which we're tasty and plentiful. We then had the cod and chips... Very fresh, very tasty and proper chips unlike some places. Highly recommended :-) cheers. Steve and Jane

“Excellent food & service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

Four of us eat very well here.

Two of us had traditional Haddock - really nice fish & chips, excellently cooked - at the top of the range pricewise but very good.

The pan fried Halibut was both enormous and delicious - causing some looks of envy.

Service was good, and very friendly including giving us tips for the rest of our evening in Brid. Recommended.

“Outstanding Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and yet again the food was excellent. Waitress was polite and courteous and nothing was to much bother. Had the Monkfish cooked in Pancetta which was sublime and would highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bridlington.
