“Outstanding Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions and yet again the food was excellent. Waitress was polite and courteous and nothing was to much bother. Had the Monkfish cooked in Pancetta which was sublime and would highly reccomend this restaurant to anyone visiting Bridlington.

“Still Superb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

This was a return trip 1 year later, arriving midweek at 2:15 and rather surprised the restaurant was still open. Three of the four downstairs tables were already taken, and so we settled at the fourth and perused the blackboard menu. As last time, a good choice of fish was on offer and we settled on the half lobster starter which was served with a fresh herb salad - no sign of the ubiquitous Iceberg lettuce! For mains I had the battered hallibut which was beautifully moist but with a still perfectly crisp batter, whilst my wife had the pan fried Dover Sole which was equally well prepared. A ramekin of mushy peas and a large bowl of chips completed the dishes. Unfortunately we were so full from the lobster starter that we were unable to make much impression on the chips. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable and we peeked upstairs to see the rest of the restaurant. It seemed cosy and snug and I would probably reserve a table here for an evening meal. All in all an excellent experience and we will certainly be returning.

“Good quality seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

This was an excellent find. The restaurant is a bit bare but the food is very good. There was a slight wait but it was worth it.

“Excellent, delicious locally sourced fish and friendly service.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

We visited the Naked Fish this weekend on a visit to Bridlington. We were so impressed with the meal we had on Friday night we went back and tried the take away side with fish and chips on the Saturday.

Both times the fish was delicious. Fridy night they could even tell us where and when the fish was caught. It was fresh and beautifully cooked. Saturday's fish and chips were the best we have had in Bridlington and as far as I can remember.

The owner and staff were warm and friendly.

What more could anybody ask for apart from a branch opening up near where to where we live!!!!!

“A real fishy business”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

If u like fish this is a great place to eat. We had mussels to start (one portion between us !!!!! Which was fab) and for mains we both had the fresh halibut which was really wonderful. This resteraunt was in bridlingtons top two on Trip Advisor, and whereas it would be unfair to comment on others, this resteraunt was tip top. Real value for money.
