Second Wetherspoons in Barnsley and usually less busy than the Joseph Bramah.
Former Coop furniture shop.
Fairly small and cosy for a Wetherspoons and has some nice seating booths and centrally positioned gas fire.
Patio seating outside at front popular with smokers.
Usual eclectic mix of Wetherspoons customers. Real drinkers, ladies lunching or having coffee and families.
Not on the main run for younger weekend drinkers so you can often get a seat and a have a conversation on a weekend evening out.
Usual Wetherspoons menu. I've been satisfied with every meal I've had as I know what to expect for my money.
Friendly service, but like most Wetherspoons more bar staff would be good.
