First time in a Premier Inn, very impressed by helpful staff at reception. Lovely spot on a business/leisure park with a smashing next-door restaurant. Travelled with two kids, breakfast was great value (free for children if 1 adult pays for cooked) - so it worked out at 7.99 for three!
Despite closeness of airport, hotel was very well soundproofed. Family room was a decent size with a king-size bed and a sofa bed with a pull out single. Only small complaint was that the advertised 'free wi-fi' was actually only free for half an hour. Having stayed in lots of etaps and ibis hotels we were quite surprised by this - seems a bit stingy! Otherwise great - would certainly stay here again if going to Manchester.

I stayed here to go to a football match and I took my family. The staff were very pleasant at check in and this continued throughout our stay. I've stayed at a few PI's and the staff here were top class. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The only drawback was a few kids running up and down the corridor late at night and an argument between two residents.I would still stay here again.

Very helpful staff, ask for the newer rooms whilst these are a little further from reception they are more modern. Clean bathrooms and comfortable. Walking distance of John Lewis and Sainsbury's.

stayed with a group of friends and children, staff on reception helpful and informative and ironed out any queries/problems we had...group bookings are never easy! We ate at the on site restaurant 17 boys and 18 adults food was booked on our arrival and served at 5pm the staff where efficient, the food was good and we were fed in time to go bowling at 6.45 at Parrs Wood. The bar was welcoming comfortable to come back to after bowling. Breakfast, included in our deal, was excellent and again service was outstanding. Room was comfortable and clean with a decent bathroom.

I stayed at the Premier Inn in Cheadle in the last week of January and again last week. I chose this hotel because it was close to the location of my appointments in South Manchester and because it's in a parkland setting in the site of the old Cheadle Royal Hospital. My sat-nav found the hotel without difficulty, and on each occasion I was able to park free of charge within 25 yards of the door.

The hotel has been extended recently and I stayed in both sections. The only difference is that the rooms in the new section are a little larger and furniture is slightly different. Otherwise the rooms are spotlessly clean, everything works, the beds are comnfortable and you get 30 minutes wi-fi in the price. For people who like to sleep in quiet surroundings, each room was quiet with no sound from the plumbing, heating or corridors, and with very little noise from outside. The planes going into Manchester airport stop at around 11pm and don’t start up again until after 6am.

Breakfast is in the pub adjoining the hotel. I had continental breakfast each time and was impressed with the range of options. There were 8-10 types of cereal, with dried or fresh fruit and yoghurt, and there was a tangy fruit compote as well. There are also crumpets as well as toast.

On each occasion I found the staff personable and professional, and I’d recommend this hotel for anyone staying in Manchester on business.
