Description: Our Head Chef Rob is a complete food perfectionist, cooking everything from scratch and often working into the night to make sure the food he serves is the best it can be. Combine a perfectionist foodie Head Chef with high quality fresh ingredients and it's no wonder there is a quiet revolution going on at The Stables Cafe. It is hard not to mention our Cafe without highlighting the stunning view. It is worth the drive out for this alone. One of our customers put it perfectly: 'people pay a lot of money to buy a house with a view like this and I get to enjoy it every week.....I feel like the Queen'

“Delicious burgers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

This is more than just a tea room. We had delicious burgers with beautifully cooked chips. The burgers were thick, juicy, tasty and memorable. I'd have the same again if I went back, which I would if I was in the area. And the bill for four of us, with drinks, was very reasonable too.

“Christmas Dinner Delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2013

Booked in for a celebratory Christmas Dinner, well this one set a very high standard. All freshly cooked by Rob the chef, beautifully presented. Started with a gorgeous leek and Stilton tart on a bed of mixed salad with a balsamic dressing. Followed by a traditional Christmas Turkey dinner with pigs in blankets, homemade stuffing, roast parsnips, carrots, cabbage and roast potatoes a small Yorkshire Pud filled with gravy.. The turkey just melted in the mouth. Followed by a slightly alcoholic Christmas pudding crumble with custard Good wholesome food, reasonably priced all served by attentive, welcoming staff. Can't recommend it highly enough!!

“Family visit”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

We visited on Sunday 17th November as we had been before and had an enjoyable time . This time we went straight in to the restaurant as it was drizzling rain . We had our 2 year old daughter and found out both high chairs were in use , so we couldn't actually stay for a meal . Considering this is a Family orientated attraction , this are not enough high chairs here . There is only one baby change and that is the only loo as well , this can be a problem . We decided to travel to the Jinny Ring centre at Hanbury not far away and the restaurant had 7 high chairs .
