Myself and members of our fishing club have stayed at this homely B&B pub for several years and Proprietors Sally & Tom do everything to make you feel at home. Ideal for fishing groups with comfortable rooms each with tea making facilities, home cooked breakfasts, somewhere to store your fishing gear within the pub building and a decent range of beers for most tastes Bitters (Worcestershire Way, John Smiths) , Lagers, Cider (Thatchers). All located at the top of the main street (Load St) where you will find all eateries, bakery, supermarket, bank etc, and with excellent fishing nearby (Solhampton 4 miles, Cob House 14 miles, Elmbridge 10 miles). All at a really good price, you won't beat it.

I stayed here with our local angling club for 5 days. Since last year it has been much improved by the updated decoration. The food is still good and the room was comfortable.
The club books a weeks fishing every year, and we are made welcome with a friendly atmosphere.

Room Tip: BOOK EARLY! as we have already booked for next year

My husband stayed here and as previous reviews have said, this is a great place to stay for a weekends fishing.

The Landlady was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Great breakfasts and a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

He'll be back!

Stayed here with a few fellow angling friends for a long weekend. Arrived Friday and departed Monday. This place was perfect for our needs. Very reasonably priced and we were made extremely welcome by the lovely Sally who was just fantastic to us the whole time we were there. If all landlady's had her attitude the world would be a better place, she really couldn't do enough and had fantastic smile for everyone.

Breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of room to store our fishing tackle, great pub with some great ales and perfectly located in the middle of Bewdley if you wanted to have a little wander around town.

The rooms were spacious and well equipped, not quite up to the Ritz standard but more than adequate for a few nights B and B.

Only minor downside was lack of parking but wasn't really an issue as there is a large car park a couple of hundred yards away (if that) so it wasn't a problem just a very slight inconvienience, but if you know Bewdley it is a very compact little town so would imagine that parking is an `issue' for alot of establishments. DON'T let the parking put you off.

We will,be back :)

Have stayed at this pub/bed/breakfast a couple of times before....it just got a whole lot better...the lovely Sally has taken it over and changed so much.all for the good!,redecorated more or less throughout over a short time..It is totally clean throughout, and the room we stayed in was great..this place is used a lot by anglers ans she makes you feel so welcome, can't do enough for you ! I truly hope she gets the rewards that she deserves for all her efforts...even making sure our breakfasts were bang on time on the Sunday after her halloween party would definitely recommend staying there and we will be returning in the new year for more of her hospitality.
