To call it a dive is unfair as its unpretentious and far from false. It has character, frequented at times by some colourfull characters, where you can be yourself in a friendly, laid back atmosphere.
The only gripe is most of the time you don't know when the bands are going to start playing, this means sometimes your waiting an hour/hour and half..sometimes longer for a band to play after the advertised door opening time. Also it seems that if not enough tickets are sold the gig is cut short, ive been to a few gigs where the band has only played for an hour or so..and when a ticket is over £15 you feel you're not getting value for money...However for as long as this venue is open I'll be supporting it, as its unique for the area
