“brilliant bands”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Place bit `rough and ready` but very friendly. Bands from all over world so always something different. Cheap alcohol. Excellent!

“A place you can just dress grunge and enjoy being yourself”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

It's black and red decor, you wonder what you are entering when you open those doors for the first time, you climb those stairs past the array of poster advertising forthcoming artist and gigs, community notice boards and out and about leaflets. To your right is the snug, community bar whatever you wish to call it. Their proud of their club and why shouldn't they be? Friendly bunch of people from all professions and walks of life

Decent beer kept and served, even a much better wine now than they use to have a few years ago. Limited wine but its not bad and a good price. The main room houses the performance stage. The seating and tables are out dated but to be honest, it fits in well with its surroundings. I've been a few times just recently and I am really beginning to settle down in the trades. You can become a trades member, this allows a reduction on selected gig tickets and regular news letters, what's on etc.

Quiz and curry nights are held the first Thursday of the month. £4 on the night. A good selection of curry be it vegetarian or meat and a very enjoyable quiz. You don't have to be a egg head to take part. Don't be fooled by that remark. Some very intelligent people frequent the trades club. Look out for future events and give it a go.
