The restaurant was basic to look at and service was slow to begin with, which was a bit annoying with a 4 year old and a 2 year old. However when we said that we enjoyed the fried balls in the antipasti, we were immediately provided with 4 more. Also, they provided a hair chair for my 2 year old when we asked. One of the servers was a very grumpy elderly gentleman who didn't respond to our smiles but cracked a little smile when we were leaving! The divided a plate of spaghetti ragu (quite meaty and not very saucy but tasty) for the kids. I had the ravioli (stuffed with courgettes and ricotta cheese) in tomato and basil sauce which was good. My husband had the rabbit and pasta which he enjoyed. You could chose between red or white house wine-the red was a 2012 chianti DOCG which was light and young. They accept credit cards. It was very much a local restaurant - it cost €40 for the 4 of us with wine.
