“Best place in San Juan”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

If you only make it out for one meal go here and get the lobster with salsa. It is so good we went back the second night to have it again!

“Cheap Lunch”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

A nice small economical place for lunch in town. The lunch specials are cheap and filling. A good value. Small and a little crowded but staff was nice and helpful. It would be nice if you could get a beer here but you can walk down to the pulperia and bring one back.

“Best deal and best food.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2014

There's not much to say about La Lancha. Lobster tails are $6. They had the best ceviche I've ever had in my entire life. The staff was very nice and courteous. If you're in San Juan del Sur you need to stop by La Lancha.

“Amazing place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 4, 2014

On our first night in SJDS we saw this place which was packed with people so the second night we tried it and it was awesome. It is a very authentic small restaurant and only offers a few seafood dishes. We had lobster/langustin and the red snapper, both came with rice, salad, plantains and the red snapper with white sauce. It was very delicious and fresh and the lobster only costs 6$, red snapper 5$. It's not one of the fancy places but I think its great for people who don't want these touristy and expensive restaurants.
I can definitely recommend this place!

“Best meal of our trip ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

This restaurant had the best seafood in all of Nicaragua! We had shrimp ceviche, lobster, and red snapper and it was all divine. Very reasonably priced as well. Only downside is that they don't serve alcohol.
