The Villa Isabella was our choice for three nights in May, 2008 and we stayed in one of their condos which are attached as part of the hotel. The condo is fully equipped with a full size refrigerator, stove, 2 TV’s, a VHS player and a DVD player. Of course AC and hot water. Mike, the owner, is a gracious host. This was a very relaxing stay and we found that sitting on the front porch talking with the other guests was a highlight of our trip to Nicaragua. The hotel is located about a 4 min. walk from the Malecon. Quite frankly, that is good as we are told the nightlife can be quite noisy on the Malecon. We are thinking about our return next year.

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for a few days days in late march 2008 while on a surf adventure with a few of my long time pals. The experience couldn't have been better. The location was perfect. The town was way cool. The accomodations were comfortable. But, most of all, the vibe was central american friendly and local all the way. Definitely not the ugly american or spring break hang out. Mike, the owner, made us breakfast every day. There was a serve yourself honor bar that had beer and water, etc. Best of all , there was a shaded veranda in front of the hotel with rocking chairs where you were welcome to sit, drink beer, and share your adventures/thoughts with your buddies, mike, local hottties like Tatianna and Cassidy or whomever. i would definitely stay here again.

A simply wonderful stay for our family. The facilities are top notch and in the heart of a little village close to world-class beaches.

The staff was extremely helpful and helped arrange a couple of day trips.

What a fantastic property. Clean rooms, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast and a great location !!! Who could ask for more. The owner (Mike) was very helpful with many insider tips on what to do and see in San Jaun del Sur. We will return and although we could afford one of the higher end resort properties, we would much rather stay with MIke and his staff at Hotel Villa Isabella !!!! Thanks again for the great service and fun !!!
