“Too pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

The mango bread was quite dry on the outside but tasty on the inside. Sadly, everything in the bakery was extremely overpriced. The employee acted as if we were disturbing her from her real job which was baking. Someone might want to tell her that businesses succeed by actually selling things. The owner should realize they are in Nicaragua and lower prices. I doubt any Nica would ever pay up for this place.

“Excellent Gringo bread and sweets”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

The selection of food at this bakery was good and the sweets were very sweet. The breads were flavorful. All the other foreigners I met really liked it. Not sure how much the locals do - it's expensive compared to bread and baked goods available.

“Delicious & overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 20, 2013

The bread is amazing. But the prices are tough to justify... especially in comparison to everything else in the area.

The roasted garlic and rock salt on the foccacia bread is incredible! The people are really nice... it's a good place to go to grab snacks (although overpriced) for the beach or a picnic. If they were slightly more affordable, I would have made many more trips in for quick cookies and loaves of bread.

Buuut, the smell wafting into the streets might lure you in there either way...

“Pan de Dios”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

By far the best bread I had the entire time I was in Nicaragua. We had a garlicy focaccio which was amazing. The coffee should be passed on though.

“AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

I loved Pan De Vita - it has the best bread in the world. Just smelling it, you will say "I want it!" Then you will want more and come back again and again! Just a thought - with so many Californians - you may want to offer gluten-free products!
