“Great 1/2 price martinis for happy hour!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2011 via mobile

Martinis and food are great. The only fine dining option in Huntingdon. I do suggest sitting in the casual dining section, so that you can order off either the casual or formal dining menus, in the formal dining section, you can only order from the formal menu.

“A Hidden Gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2011

It was a pleasant surprise to find a "fine dining' restaurant in a small town in rural Pennsylvania. Mimi's features both "casual" dining, and "fine" dining. The "fine" dining menu is somewhat limited and quite expensive. In the "casual" side of the house you can order from the "fine" dining menu, but also have the option of a greatly expanded pub-grub menu at reasonable prices. We chose casual dining. The Maryland Crab soup was excellent, and the French Onion soup was the best I've had in many years. I had a Cajun style sausage pasta $11.95, and my wife had a roast beef reuben ($8.95) We had a cocktail and a wine before dinner (a generous pour). All in all, a pleasant experience; we would return.

“Excellent food-small portions for the price.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 6, 2011

My husband and I enjoyed our dining experience at Mimi's, but were disappointed in the portion sizes for the price. And we're not sure if it was posted on the menu-it may have been and we could have missed it-but there were no free drink refills on iced tea. All of the food was excellent and I would definitely recommend Mimi's overall, but don't expect to be taking home leftovers. Be sure to try the Xiango for dessert.

“Exceptional Food!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2011

If you are dining in Huntingdon, PA you won't want to miss a chance to vist Mimi's. I am amazed that a restaurant of this quality is in a small town. We have eaten here several times and I have been pleased by the quality of the food every time. The sweet potato fries are particularly good. I also enjoy the pime rib reuben and by husband likes their hamburgers. Thier dinner entrees are also terrific, specifically I have enjoyed the ravioli. The Xiango for dessert is a must.

They offer two dining room options - casual and fine dining. If you dine in casual you can order from the entire menu. If you opt for fine dining, you cannot order a sandwich. Even the casual dining is elegant with attractive stemware and candles. I don't believe there are any dress requirements, but in the atmosphere you will feel most comfortable in dressy or smart casual attire.

It is best to get reservations. We have tried twice without a reservation and got in once, but were turned away once. We have taken our 3-year-old and they do have a kid's menu, but the wait might be a bit long for some children.

“Brilliant food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2011

Decided to eat at Mimi's for New Years Eve and food was fantastic. We could not stay for the party festivities as too late for the babysitter! but seemed a good party atmosphere, a gem of a restaurant and bar.
