This was our second stay at Westwynd Farms because we just love the calm, relaxing atmosphere of the Inn combined with its proximity to Hershey Park and the other attractions in Lancaster County. For us, it proved the perfect "home base" after long days of shopping (antiquing and outlets) and sightseeing. However, we particularly appreciated coming back to the Inn after our two long days at Hershey's theme Park. The hosts Carolyn and Frank made us feel welcome but did not hover. The room we stayed in (Killarney -both times) was modern (cable tv, cd player, spacious private bathroom) yet charming. Our room had an equestrian theme and lots of horsey details (the Inn is part of a working horse farm) - our favorite was the stirrup towel holders! The breakfasts were a special treat with warm fresh baked muffins and the most memorable baked "egg blossoms" that Carolyn made with Canadian bacon, a dollop of cream cheese and eggs. We're still trying to re-create them in our own kitchen.

This was the best vacation i have ever had because of the bed and breakfast. I was a little worried b/c i have never stayed in a bed and breakfast but i can't wait to go back. My boyfriend and i wanted to celebrate our anniversry in hershey and this was such a good place for us. Right when you walked by the front door every day there were fresh baked goods to have anytime you wanted, a full fridge to get a drink when ever you wanted, The animals were so friendly, Caryoln and Frank were the nicest people ever. The presentation and food during breakfast was outstanding. The room was filled with everything you could image with bath beads, bath robes, plenty of towels and all the amenities you would ever need. The property and the house was so clean. The view was so beautiful you couldn't have captured it in a picture. the beds were so comfortable and it was so quiet you didn't hear anyone go by. This was the best place for a romatic or just quiet get away for such a low price.

I was 2 seconds away from booking a room at a Sheraton Four Points 10mi from Hershey- so I wouldn't have to spend a fortune on a hotel- when I dug up a listing for the Inn at Westwynd at bedandbreakfast.com. I was charmed by the pictures of the Inn on the website, and lucky for me, there was 1 room left, the Roman Canon room. The Roman Canon room is located on the 2nd floor of the inn and has a private porch attached. The room is decorated in the Victorian style and has a private bath, TV, and electric fireplace. In real life it looked exactly how it did in the picture online. The bed could have been a little more comfortable for my taste, but it wasn't terrible--- after an 11-hour day spent at Hershey Park, I had no trouble sleeping at all. I am glad I was able to snatch this room up last-minute!

The inn/farm is literally minutes away from the park and offers a quiet, relaxing haven away from the bustle of Hershey's main drag. Carolyn and Frank were wonderful hosts- Carolyn gave us directions, told us where to get discounted tickets to the park, and prepared an abundance of delicious pastries--- chocolate chip cookies, lemon cookies, chocolate-caramel brownies, lemon squares, lemon-pecan coffee cake, chocolate banana bread... .Reading about homemade breakfasts and fresh baked goods available round-the-clock on tripadvisor.com alone got me excited, and the assortment exceeded expectations.

We (my boyfriend and I) were out and about quite a bit for our short weekend stay in Hershey- had we more time, we would have liked to stay longer and just relax & hang out... we are hoping there will be another opportunity in the near future.

If you are looking for a cute, quiet, romantic, relaxing place to stay, and a breath of fresh air, I definitely recommend the Inn at Westwynd. The best things about it have to do with the fact that you feel like you're at home -you can come and go as you please, stroll the farm grounds, grab something to drink from the fridge, eat as many chocolate chip cookies as you want. What's not to love?

We arrived with our two children for a family reunion/gathering to the welcoming and hospitable Westwynd Farm B & B. After our long 8 hour drive from coastal North Carolina, we were extremely tired and the huge soft beds and in-room fireplaces made the it easy to relax and recoupe. The rooms were spacious and warm and the breakfast was amazing. We highly recommend the stuffed french toast! Our children particularly loved the grounds and the various animals including alpacas and horses. It was our first trip to Hersheay and we all had a great time at Hershey park and town. We hope to return next year and, without a doubt, stay at this beautiful country farmhouse again!
