We found the bathroom to have what appeared to be feces smeared on the toilet paper fixture and on the inside of the bathroom door. There was dirt in the corners of the bathroom and hair in the tub. The dust beside the bed and in the space between the bed and nightstand was thick enough to sweep with a broom. The tub fixture damn near fell out of the wall when you attempted to adjust the water temperature. The microwave was broken, but we had to explain over and over to the front desk exactly why we were convinced it was broken. They promised to call in the repair man. After waiting more than 1/2 hour we went to the front desk where we were ignored while the clerk sitting there was completing a text message on his cell phone. Finally the manager came out and said they were waiting for the repair man to call. I told her we waiting long enough, and at that point she called him and then told us he was on his way. He did show up in about an hour and finally replaced the microwave with one that worked, They were sorry about the food that was ruined. But that's all they were.
Breakfast was another catastrophe with too many people in a room too small. We had to wait several minutes in line and then there were no empty tables. We won't stay at Days Inn ever again.

We stayed here two nights using a coupon book rate of $59 per night, which was almost half the $109 rate being charged unsuspecting newcomers at the front desk and a good value considering the general priceyness of the area.

The king room was decent but not enormous. There was a big desk and an easy chair, as well as a micro/fridge. The wifi internet signal was strong. The TV channel selection was very limited, though, a disappointment. The bed was comfortable enough, the cleanliness was adequate, the air freshener was kept at reasonably low levels, and the breakfast was decent, if a bit starchy. Free cookies were available at the front desk.

One drawback is the design of the hotel, with all floors open to a large central atrium. This means that smoking rooms, and smoking floors, share their air with the rest if the building via the huge central space. This was not a problem for us, as we were well down the hall on a nonsmoking floor, but might be a problem for some nonsmokers depending upon location. Fire regulations prevent the closing of hallway doors that might help block some of the air flow.

There is a German restaurant next door; menus are in the rooms and it is well advertised but isn't quite as good, in our estimation, as it was made out to be.

Overall, at the coupon rate, this Days Inn was a decent place to stay and we'd consider it again if in the area.

  • Liked — The room was nicely-appointed for the price we paid.
  • Disliked — Building design means smoking floors share air with nonsmoking floors.

I had called the hotel to book a hotel room right after my father had died and this property was the one that I chose because of location. When i had checked in the front desk clerk greeted me with a bright smile and ask me what they could do for me. They checked me in and made conversation with me and then proceeded to tell me how to get to my room. Once I got into my room it smelled like smoke even though i had booked a nonsmoking room. I call the front desk from the room and told them about my issue, they apologised about the inconvenience and offered to move me or spray the room for the smell. I requested another room. They offered to move me to a nonsmoking king size room on the 4th floor, ( I was on the 1st at that time). I had asked for help to get up and someone came to the room and helped me. The other room was a lot better. It was clean and all set to place. They did not have a restaurant in the hotel but gave me a stack of papers containing other places to eat and suggested some on their own. In my opinion if you want to stay at a very we kept hotel with some very nice workers you should stay here!!!

This Days Inn has a nice exterior and a well-maintained lobby but the room I stayed in was filthy and in poor condition. The shower and some of the lamps in the main room were broken, and the bathtub was full of black mold.

On the plus side, the breakfast was nice, with several flat panel televisions in the dining area and free newspapers. There is no restaraunt in the hotel, which is a definite inconvenience, but the free wireless was a positive.

I would find somewhere else to stay in Horsham until they start taking care of their rooms.

Upon arriving we found a container in the refrigerator left by a previous guest...moldy an disgusting. We were there to attend a funeral on the last day we requested a late check-out and we were told by the front desk supervisor that she could only grant us a 30 minute extension...as fate would have it the funeral ran longer than expected...my wife called and asked for an additional 30 minutes and she was told NO! "the cleaning staff only works until 12:30"...upon returning we immediately vacated and as I attempted to check-out, I wait 5 minutes while the "Front End Supervisor" spoke with a personal collection agency, completely ignoring me...I left without speaking to her...I then left a voice mail for the General Manager who never called me back...if you are looking for a musty, poorly staffed and shabbily run hotel this is the one for you.
