We were on the same ride as another review who gave the trolley 5 stars, so take my review (or theirs)with a grain of salt I guess. The trolley drives you around to Hersheys sites, but there's no chance to get off. On our ride, the PA system/speakers were too loud. We were treated to too much syrupy acting - might have worked if we were all in the early years of elementary school...
What I wouldn't miss would be the free 'amusement park like ride' that is available where you buy tickets for the trolley and 3D experience. It isn't comprehensive and isn't long on facts, but gives you the flavor of what it is to make chocolate, and it's not loud, overly silly or tedious.
The trolley (and the tour guides) weren't terrible - if they weren't so shrill and did a bit less acting it would be okay. It would, however, be nice to actually get out to see some of the sites and I was disappointed there's no longer a factory tour.
