“An amazing museum on the history of autos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2009

There are three floors of cars and trucks at the AACA Museum. The collection begins with early horseless carriages, and continues through to more recent vehicles. Along with the autos, there are many other related historical items.

On the main floor, the autos are put in large scale diaramas, with additional items making a great backdrop. On the lower floor, the exhibits change every so often.

Boundaries between walkways and vehicles are minimal, so be careful not to let kids wander in and touch the vehicles.

“Beautiful, great place to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2008

Attended with hubby the car nut. Was a great way to spend the afternoon. Great displays, convenient location, reasonable admission. His only gripe, no muscle cars from the 60's and 70's. If you are a car enthusiast, or even if not and just looking for a break from the amusements and shopping, enjoy this beautiful place.

“A Gorgeous Collection Anyone Can Enjoy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2008

My husband and I visited the museum and we loved the experience. He's a car lover, while I am not. But we both found the visit to be thoroughly fun and enriching. The restoration of these vehicles are amazing. It's really enjoyable for everyone of all ages, car enthusiasts or not. These are things people are not accustomed to seeing everyday, so it's really a novel attraction that should not be passed up.

You get to see the changes that took place over the many years. There's a lot of history to learn. There were antique cars, motorcycles, buses, and dairy trucks in this collection of vehicles. The displays were spread throughout two spacious floors of the building. Fun sceneries were a part of the exhibit - there were: a fake gas station and store, movie drive-in, bus stop, and diner. Some of the makes featured are Ford, Cadillac, Buick, and Harley Davidson.

“for car lovers and non car lovers alike”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2008

Just because you may not be a car enthusiast, don't skip coming to this museum. The collection of automobiles, buses and motorcycles is nothing short of amazing. It will take you down memory lane for sure. I liked how the cars were arranged in order by the decade. And the beauty with which these vehicles have been restored is also incredible. Most look like the day they rolled out of the factory. If you are in Hershey for a couple of days and looking for something else to do, absolutely stop here!

“Incredible collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2008

WOW!

What can I say about this museum. This is one of the best collections of cars, trucks, and buses I have ever seen. In talking with some of the volunteers we learned that many of the vehicles are driven to keep them in good condition, what a great job that would be.

The collection is extensive and varied, we were lucky to be there to see the pickup truck collection which is part of a special display that changes from time to time.

If you like transportation museums do not miss this one!
