“Opulent”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2012

Milton Hershey School has the second largest endowment in the United States, after Harvard. Come and see the fruits of this money in this local landmark, Founders Hall, in all its glory. Ask somebody at Milton Hershey to explore the whole school if you can. This is a wonderful school that is funded by a fraction of each Hershey chocolate product that you consume.
I used to volunteer here.

“Incredible Multi-Purpose Room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Founders hall is the jewel of the Hershey School and is a symbol of the incredible legacy Milton Hershey left behind. This large auditorium is open to the public and is used by all the students as a gathering place,a theatre, and a place to congregate. It has the second largest unsupported rotunda in the world and beautiful marble detailing throughout the building. It even has a changing exhibit of Mr. Hershey's home furnishings and a hall of fame area for famous Hershey alumnus. If you enjoy architecture, or learning about Hershey history, or just checking out cool places, then take 30 minutes to visit Founders Hall.

“Amazing what Milton Hershey and his wife have done”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Everything about this school is amazing -- the vision, opportunities, homes, grounds, results -- WOW! Milton and his wife have changed thousands of lives with their dream. The logistics of feeding, clothing, educating, counseling, and caring for the 1000+ students in this environment are mind-boggling.

In terms of an "attraction" I wouldn't say this is the greatest thing you'll do in Hershey, but in terms of inspiring you and appreciating what Milton and his wife have accomplished -- this is an amazing story. Watch some of the videos in Founder's Hall and get ready to be amazed at their generosity and foresight.
