“A good choice if you are staying in the hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Beautiful location in the gardens of the Hotel Hershey. We had dinner and lunch the next day while staying at the hotel. The service was very friendly and professional. The fish was very nicely prepared and everyone enjoyed the soups.

“Not bad...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2013

Service was great- food was average to good..I had the filet with brussell sprouts and mashed potatoes.....the filet was great, the other two reminded me a little like hospital food.... the dessert made up for it though! Chocolate moose cake....that is heaven in your mouth!!!

“A very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

This restaurant is situated right in the backyard of the Hershey Hotel. It offers great views, and is quite romantic. We were there as a family and the kids loved the chocolates when you walk in and the kids menu. The wait staff was just okay. Not overly friendly, which I would have expected from a Hershey attraction. Food was very good, and the cocktails are inventive and tasty.

“A great experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Excellent food:chocolate BBQ wings-generous portion; she crab soup and pumpkin pear soup - delicious; applesauce bread and cinnamon sugar butter they put on the table was a nice start; they have a gluten free menu and gluten free rolls; they may me a nice Arnold Palmer and my wife raved about the Chocolatini; scallop appetizer was great; prime rib was one of the best I ever had - I recommend the side of mushrooms; chocolate desserts were excellent; service was excellent- personable and made good recommendation; beautiful location

“Very average with above average prices”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012

The waitstaff, instead of being overly friendly, acted a little too fancy in dealing with us...almost as though this is a five-star black tie dining experience. However, the restaurant is more of a cozy home-style dining experience and we would have appreciated a warmer, friendlier waiter. The she crab soup was very good. However, the Caesar salads we ordered were very plain and just not very good -- plain romaine lettuce with dressing and no grated cheese or particularly good taste. I ordered the Steak Caesar and there were three very small pieces of steak...my husband thought I should mention ask if this was normal but I did not. The food took quite a long time to arrive to us and the portions were on the small-side. For two appetizers and two salads (which we ate as entrees) our bill was $60...nothing was bad but definitely was not worth the price we paid. It is not a place we'll return to next time we are in Hershey.
