This place is an absolute dump...I am going to make a complaint with Motel 6 when I am done with this.

We were on a motorcycle trip and we needed a place to stay so this was the only place that was available,

We walked into the room and everything was unplugged....all the lights...the air conditioner was not on and it must have 100 degrees in the room...the clock was even unplugged.....the room never cooled down either we were sweating all night....

The toilet was broke....the fan in the bathroom was not working.....the lady who worked the front desk could not understand english and had no idea what we were talking about...and these were newly remodeled rooms????

There was a cheerleading competition going on the day that we were there and from talking to some of the parents there a lot of there friends left and went to a different hotel - thats why we ended up with a room - of course it was one of the rooms that had many problems....

Unfair Review! Perhaps the guest has been missing out on all the public service announcements made by our President about energy savings. Why would a hotel leave all the utilities plugged in and running if we are not sure a guest will be checking in?? The guests came to the office after staying 2 nights asking for a full refund. Smoked in a non-smoking room, left cigarette butts in the bathroom to name a few violations of hotel policies... please be honest and sincere in your reviews. We can be reasoned with, we cannot be lied to.

I have stayed at this motel 3 times this year with my two kids. We stayed in February, April, and June. I have been more than happy each time. We just returned last Saturday from our 3rd visit. We were sad to leave. The staff are so nice and friendly, they make you feel like you are right at home. If you need something, they take care of it right away. Our room was very clean, we had a flat screen TV, WiFi, refrigerator, comfortable beds, clean bathroom, everything was great!!! My kids also love this place and we have always felt safe staying here. We really enjoyed the pool, it was very clean, well maintained, and just the right temperature. The deck is huge with plenty of chairs for relaxing and sunbathing. We are planning to return in August and will stay here again, thanks again to all the staff for making our stay here great!! We will see you again soon!!!!

I did not expect this to be the Ritz or other great Hotel But....
We asked for a smoking room which we were given this room was in back of the hotel on the bottom floor which was nice to be away from the main road. The staff (2 that I saw in 4 days) was nice. Our room on the inside was not rennovated as the Motel 6 website claims and did not have a flat screen TV . In fact had a small 19 inch on a shelf in the corner. The carpet had multiple mystery stains and the sheets were so thin you could see thru them . We proceeded to go to Wal_mart and buy 2 sheet sets for $6 that were better than the ones the Hotel uses. We also re cleaned and sanitized the entire room which got rid of the musty old smell so if you stay here ask for room 122 it has been cleaned and sanitized recently....
Went to order Pizza but the room phone did not work at all. The lights in the hallway worked when they wanted to and the outside door lock worked after you inserted the key card about 6 times or more. I dont know if the keycards are ever recoded since they all have the room #s written on them ... Not too good for security (How many are out there never returned)
All of the hotels I have ever stayed in say never to write the room # on your key cards for security reasons...
But a plus to this hotel is its closeness to Hershey and the pool looked nice even though we never got to use it....

Not sure what they mean by recently renovated as I did not see anything of the like, and we had asked for a newly renovated room. The 1st floor spelled horrific, very musty. I have been under a rain cloud with more pressure than the shower! The toilet was low pressure also. Every outlet was used except bathroom. No wi-fi as offered. Our door was fine until the next day when we came back to an open door that wouldn't close unless you SLAMMED it and to get it open, you had to throw your shoulder into it. The "main" doors are locked by there's a side door that's wide open. You had to pay for ice, but it was dripping water, no ice. The vending machine was a fright. The pool was clean, but be careful for the high sharp nails sticking out of the deck! Front office .. 1 man show, stood waiting 3x for at least 15 minutes each time and was greeted by a dishelved man who had just woken up and said it was a rough night. If you need to plop down for a couple hours before moving on, it's ok. If you have a vacation please do yourself a favor and spend the extra $ for a more pleasant property -- you can make up the $ by smart shopping & packing beforehand!

The staff was polite, and extremely helpful considering i had two cars full of young children with me. They found me the rooms i needed in a pinch and were more than willing to assist with just about everything. This was not a HILTON, however it was family oriented, convenient and most of all affordable.

Thank you so much guys for all the help and assistance.

We requested a non-smoking room with queen beds. Old carpet and stale smelling (smoke) - very old small tv chained to the wall... the hotel description said flat screened tvs and updated rooms! After we questioned this- told only some of the rooms were updated - gladly given their remodeled room with 2 doubles (queens were not available). Very small room. Window Air conditioner unit extremely LOUD. Mattress and Pillows Hard. THE SHOWER DID NOT WORK! The water dribbled out of the shower head. Called front desk. Had to walk outside to another room to shower. This shower also had very low water pressure - but we were able to rinse shampoo out of hair! What a hassle as we were traveling with our child. Camping or sleeping in the car would have been equivalent to this experience. The manager offered a 10% discount - after much debate - we got our money refunded for the night.

Two separate individuals were checking in before me. It seemed no matter what the manager offered to accommodate them, it was not good enough. Maybe they were looking for "free". Anyway, this manager kept his cool and was extremely courteous to them, even though they decided to cancel. He apologized to me for the wait I had to endure during the above situation. We find the management to be polite and to bend over backwards to meet our needs. Highly recommend this motel for its price, location, accommodations, and quite clean. This is not the Hyatt Regency, it is a great place to bed down for the night. We're from New Hampshire and this is our second stay in two months. Expect to be back soon.
