“The Spa at The Hotel Hershey never disappoints”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2012

The Spa at The Hotel Hershey brings new meaning to pamper. I enjoyed the hydrotherapy bath, a couples massage, facial that was beyond awesome, a manicure and a pedicure. I was there to the three night Spa package. From the moment I put on the Spa bathrobe, I knew I was in for a pampered experience so much so that I bought the Spa bathrobe so I can enjoy that luxury year round. I have made my sojourn to the Spa at The Hotel Hershey an annual event. Everyone that I came in contact at The Hotel Hersey and The Spa are over the top welcoming and courteous even the guys in the hallway doing construction. It is an experience that you should no longer deny yourself. If you are a hard worker like me, you deserve the luxury that you get from The Spa at The Hotel Hershey. We went in March before the rush of kids who descend upon Hershey for the amusement park and the other tasty treats.

I am used to staying at chain hotels such as Comfort Inn, Holiday Inn, Quality Inn so for me this was the most luxurious hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly and professional and always more than willing to assist you with anything. The grounds are beautiful and very clean. The entire hotel and rooms are impeccably clean. I go there every year for a conference. This was my 6th year attending. This year I stayed in one of the rooms at the Woodside Cottages. The cottages are new within the last couple years. The room had a king size bed & gas fireplace, with a separate room with closet, dry sink & refrigerator. The bathroom was heaven, double sinks, separate rainfall shower & soaker tub. It had a private porch with rocking chairs. It was a little piece of heaven for me.

Hotel is above average, but definitely not worth the enormously high price. Staff is very friendly, considerate and helpful. Ice skating rink is not ice which we expected from other reviews, therefore it took some getting used to, but was still fun. Nice looking pool, but didn't use it.

Hotel Hershey is a really nice place in a very nice town. The room that I stayed in was a little on the small side but was adequate. There was free WiFi available and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Free chocolates at night. Pool and fitness center were inviting. Went there for business and the conference rooms/tables were a little cramped with a room full of laptops. Lot's to do in the town. The newly renovated Hershey Theatre has a museum of Milton Hershey's life. Chocolate World is always fun. I have stayed in the Reese's Suite in the past which is an excellent accommodation. Nothing of importance lacking.

My wife and I spent a relaxing weekend at the Hotel Hershey and never left the property. Everything we wanted and needed could be found on the beautifully landscaped grounds of the Hotel Hershey. Between the Spa at Hotel Hershey, the selections for dining on grounds, the beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable rooms, and the wonderful staff the Hotel Hershey was a wonderful place to escape to.

Room Tip: We like visiting in the off season, when Hersheypark is closed, to avoid the crowds of all ages that...

I attend a conference at The Hotel Hershey every year, and I always look forward to it. Food, service and rooms are ALWAYS amazing. My only complaint is that, as someone who was attending for business, it was difficult to stay connected to my workplace. Cellphone service was poor (I use AT&T but I heard those with other providers had the same issues with both voice and data). In the meeting rooms, only presenters could access the internet (I was told that there was a per person charge for others to connect to the wifi) and the wifi in the rooms, that used to be free, is now limited to low bandwidth sites unless you pay $9.99 per night for the upgraded service.

Once again, I LOVE this place, but when you're traveling for business, it's important to stay connected, and I found that very difficult.
