“Great experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2012

I recently ate a wonderful Irish Beef Stew at Ceoltas Pub in Harrisburg. Such terrific atmosphere - no live music this evening - but I loved the Irish music playing in the background. We began with appetizers - and I would highly recommend the Bruschetta - It was beautiful to look at and absolutely wonderful! (I'd like the recipe for the dark bruschetta that is made of various vegetables and is slightly sweet...?) Anyway, my companions had Shepherd's Pie and Chicken Pot Pie - we swapped and tried them all - I think my Beef Stew was best (though the brown bread was dry and crumbly). We walked along the riverfront and enjoyed the architecture and the lighted bridges. What a nice evening in Harrisburg.

“Recommended as a drinking establishment only”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2012

The fare is your typical Irish bar food, nothing great, but acceptable. This establishment thrives on the late might drinking customers, not food sales. I highly recommend stopping by for a drink if you are in the area. There are three levels, first floor is a restaurant/lounge type level, second floor is a dimly lit bar of size with a stage, and the top floor is an open-air bar. Note that I did not say rooftop bar, which would imply a nice view, instead this level lacks a roof, which sets it apart from all the others.

“Did not seem very Irish”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

Our first experience there was disappointing. There was no Irish music playing, and the food we ordered was not very good. We had Irish stew, and wished we had ordered something else. Our salads were good. On the positive side, the service was excellent, and the top floor open air seating was pleasant! We may return again to give it another try.

“Cozy Irish Pub to Meet Friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2012

If you want an Irish pub that has great Irish dishes (as well as other choices), good beer and live (often Irish) entertainment on the weekends, this is the place for you. Room for dancing too!

“Great Irish Fare”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2012

Other than Molly Brannigan's, you won't find Irish delicassies anywhere else in Central PA. The decor is very pub-like, and you won't go away hungry. It's definately worth a visit!
