“Average food, good atmosphere”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

We went here on Valentine's Day, which the waiter acknowledged in passing at the end of the meal. Took a while for the server to come by. I ordered a beer on the menu and it was out, tried to order two others that the waiter reccommended and they were out too. The food was ok, rather bland but the portion size was good, probably to make up for the blandness. It was nothing that you wouldnt beable to get at a chain Italian resturaunt. Salad is extra, so i bread. The inside was rather nice and the atmosphere. Befre going backe, we would try somewhere else.

“Food was okay, but nothing really different here”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

We dined with friends on Saturday, January 28th -- we had not been here for quite a while. While waiting for our friends, we enjoyed drinks at the bar. There was a good selection of wines by the glass and my husband found a single malt scotch that he hadn't tried before, which is hard to do in Harrisburg.

The calamari appetizer was the best dish we had. The veal medici was tasty but slightly overwhelmed by the bechamel sauce. That seemed generally to be the theme -- heavy on sauces. Salads were not included with the pasta dishes.

The bar staff was very friendly, but our waiter got a little overwhelmed when several tables were all seated at the same time. If you're looking for traditional Italian in Harrisburg, I think Sammy's is better and Mangia Qui is heads and shoulders above the rest.

“I wouldn't waste my time...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2012

This is quite possibly the worst restaurant in Harrisburg. The wait staff forgot us, which was evident by our empty glasses throughout the meal. The food was inedible. When we received our bill, we weren't even asked why there was at least 90% of our entree still sitting on our plate and we didn't ask for it to be boxed up.

“Uninspiring, and a long wait.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2011

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. Even though it seemed busy we were seated relatively quickly. I'm a pretty patient guy but I thought it took a little too long for our food to come out. I realize good food takes time to prepare, but this food was just okay, not great. We would eat somewhere else on Restaurant Row the next time we are in Harrisburg.
