“Capital Diner...tour drivers avoid !!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

I am a motorcoach driver. On Feb 1,2013, we stopped for dinner with 30+ passengers, even calling ahead to let them know. The management(?), whom I never saw...the cashier and floor manager called someone on the phone, RUDELY refused to comp my meal, which is the custom for most restaurants.

The food also was not very good.

Hopefully the word will get out and drivers won't bring business there, adding up to many $1000's in lost revenue.

“Authentic Diner Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

We love this place - it's our first stop after church on Sunday mornings. The wait staff greet us like family. The place is always crowded but we never have to wait long for a table. The prices are a bit higher than Colonial Diner, but it's well worth it. The interior is classy, clean, and comfortable.

“Clean and unexpectedly good food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This is one of the cleanest diners we've ever been in. The staff was very nice and the food was good. It's perfect for travelers because of its location. The menu is huge so I'm certain you'll find something that appeals to you.

“Very Clean... but”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Stayed at the LaQuinta down the street. Chose this diner because we're diner people; that is, we eat at silver diners whenever we have a chance. The number one thing about this diner is that it's clean- inside and out - very clean. The waitress was excellent. No matzaball soup on the menu; so, we made a joke out of it. But, the food was mediocre. I had a so-so rubin sandwich and a forgettable soup. Can't remember what my Ruth had, but it was so-so, too.
