“Pros and cons with this hotel.....more pros”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Pros.....$50 cash back if you pay for 2 nights with your Mastercard/ Separate bedroom from living room is great with a 3 year old/ Free laundry facilities were so helpful/Free hot breakfast in the morning is great!......
Cons......No shopping or restaurants nearby/ Be careful when you go looking for somewhere to eat or shop because you can easily find yourself in a "questionable" side of town/ The pool is small and the smell of chlorine burned our eyes and lungs/ Bathtub would not drain after taking shower/ some minor housekeeping and cleanliness issues in our room

Thank you so much for your valuable feedback. We are thrilled that you were able to enjoy our daily full hot breakfast and complimentary guest laundry facilities, as these provide valuable cost savings. We hope you will consider staying with us again, and utilizing our 24 Pantry Shop for frozen and microwavable meals, or perhaps even make a “home cooked” meal in the fully equipped kitchen in your room. We also have several restaurants that do deliver, and will happily provide that list to you. We are pleased to provide a complete list of several local restaurants, with many options, regardless of your ultimate destination and direction you are traveling. We have just added a concierge kiosk for added convenience.
The pool chemicals are checked daily, and we will be sure to double check that they are at the correct levels. Thank you for making us aware of the drain in your bathtub; that enables us to provide the proper necessary maintenance to deliver a quality product. Your communication is most valuable!

On a recent trip to Harrisburg, PA for business, we stayed at the Staybridge Suites, at 920 Wildwood Park Drive. This was our first stay at a Staybridge Hotel. We had a King Suite with separate bedroom, living area and kitchenette. What a treat! The suite was very well appointed with 2 tv's, a DVD player, very comfortable bed and pillows, desk work area, kitchen with fridge, microwave and even a dishwasher. There isn't a restaurant on the property, but they include a full breakfast buffet. The "breakfst" seems to be a very common addition with reservations these days. We found their breakfast to be better than average. The suite was very clean and fresh, and right next door to the Farm Complex. For anyone travelling to a show at the complex, this is the closest hotel, and it is even within walking distance. Will definitely stay at a Staybridge property again!

While we have been to Hershey on 6 previous visits, this was our first time at the Staybridge Suites in Harrisburg. Frankly we ended up at the Staybridge because I booked late for Memorial Day weekend, and with 2 teenage boys we prefer staying in a 2 bedroom suite.

The hotel is exactly what you would expect from an extended stay. Clean rooms and an adequate buffet breakfast. We were able to keep the temperature of the room comfortable which is never assumed. The room was nicely furnished and had plenty of space for everyone to spread out.

The hotel is about a 30 minute drive from Hershey, though it didn't seem too bad. This was the furthest we ever stayed away from the attractions. Having the extra space in the room was worth it for our family.

While it wouldn't be my first choice for a return trip to Hershey due to the location, I would be willing to stay in a Staybridge Suites property again.

I went to HersheyPark and Dutch Wonderland for this trip with my 3 kids (ages 4, 6, 7) - we had a suite with a king bed, pull out sofa sleeper, kitchen with full fridhe, 2 burner stove, microwave, garbage disposal and dishwasher... hotel pool was clean and also laundered 3 loads all complimentary. The breakfast was average to good... eggs, bacon, canadian bacon, sausage, waffle maker, french toast, bagels, assorted breads, muffins, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurts, 3 kinds of coffees and a juice bar....
a great stay for kids...location is next to Expo center and a little off the beaten track but very quiet and convenient to highway... there is a back road that brings you to Progress Dr or take the highway up one exit, there is a shopping plaza, Macaroni Grill and Cracker Barrel, all convenient - I would definitely stay here again!

Perfectly clean, the rooms are spotless and the grounds well maintained. Conveniently located several miles north of downtown with easy expressway access. Having stayed here previously I expected no surprises, and received none. What you see (in their ads) is what you get. Being relatively new helps. This properties operator specifically payed more attention to detail here than some other local higher-rated hotels did for me this time around.

This hotel and our room was adequate. It was clean, seemed recently updated, but little things were bothersome. For example, there was no luggage rack in our room, so we used a table we would have preferred to keep as a coffee table; the first day there were shampoo, conditioner, soaps and towels, but after that first day the maid never left new toiletries, and didn't leave a full set of towels. These were easily fixed, as my husband went and got the stuff.

The staff acted like having so many guests (for the convention we worked) was an imposition--they complained they had no room for the boxes of product several guests had had delivered. On weekends the breakfast didn't start until 7:30 am, and we had to be at our booth, ready for customers, at 8:00 am. It would be nice if they started breakfast at the same time each day, 6:30 am.

They only had a room with one full-size bed available--do hotels even offer them any more? My husband and I are both over 6' tall, so we were--cozy.

Thank you so much for your feedback, and thank you for choosing the Staybridge Suites for your stay. As an extended stay hotel, our services differ a bit from other hotels, as the rooms are set up with full closets (with even a laundry basket) and not luggage racks. We provide many comforts of home and like to give you the space you need when your room becomes your home. We provide light touch service daily and full housekeeping services one a week; however, we are delighted to be able to provide you with amenities throughout the week upon request.

Because we do not have the storage space of a conference center, we do ask that guests have packages shipped a maximum of 2 to 3 business days before the guests’ arrival, particularly if there are many boxes/containers. If this is an inconvenience, we can help connect you with the Farm Show Complex, where you may be able to ship them directly.

It is our goal to have you enjoy our daily full hot breakfast buffet, so thank you for the insight on the breakfast time. We like to work with each event organizer on the agenda of the event, and when possible, we do open breakfast earlier to accommodate the group. We’ll be sure to make that notation for next year!

We do have several suite options, from Studio Suite to Two Bedroom/Two Bathroom Suites, with double, queen or king size beds available. Please mention your bed size request to one of our Guest Service Agents and we’ll make sure you are booked in a room with a bed that suits your needs.

Thank you again for your feedback!

my team and I stayed here for about 5 or 6 weeks, while working. It was nice to have the small kitchen and the dinner 3 nights a week, and the staff was very helpful whenever we needed a key reprogrammed or something at a meal.

Room Tip: I didn't actually choose the room, but the one I stayed in was nice with the small bedroom that...
